@mousepad1123 regular clear (white) rum.......not only does it make tobacco taste better it will also humidify the tobacco so as not to get too dry. Dry tobacco tastes bad because it burns hot. Of course you don't want it too damp. In the old days people used to keep a glass jar with their rum soaked cigars in it. The ideal way to do it is soak a wad of paper towel (size of a quarter) in rum and place in bottom of jar w/ cigars next to it, let set 24 hrs in a sealed glass jar
