I see it as this. Walt is in this all for himself to provide for his family. He knows Jesse and depends on him. My favorite part is when walt has the chance to save her...and doesn't. It's when I first realized that Walt was evil. All he had to do was turn her on her side. That's all he cares about, HIS goals. And he killed for them, girl out of the picture, no more problems. True gangster.

But I feel like all I knew about her character was that she was an ex-junkie and 'tragically cool' but I suppose you never know that much about characters they bring in as the love interests on most shows.
@lilsisjodunham But that's what they do in alot of shows, they just bring in someone who understands and loves the main character without really exploring the character of the love interest. But I am actually planning on rewatching season 2 so I'll probably see more I didn't catch at first viewing. I liked it when they showed her interactions with characters other than Jesse [not that I didn't like her interactions with Jesse, it just felt as though that was all we saw when she was there] :)
You really can't blame it all on Jane. Although she didn't help too much either. I think she really connected with Jesse at first and really loved him. Jesse and Jane really weren't good for each other.
This is great. On many levels. First off, Breaking Bad is the best show to grace the television waves in many many a year. Both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul COMPLETELY deserved their respective Emmy nominations and I truly feel that Aaron Paul deserved an Emmy for his job well done in season 2. Anyway, otherwise, Cracker fucking rocks. I saw them at KNAC fest in Austin in '91 or 92. Peter Murphy was the headliner and Material Issue was there as well. Whatever, good video, lilsis...

Yeah,I really liked how she played Jane. I didn't see it at first, but towards the end you really get to see that Jane was just like Jesse in regards to their family life. Especially when Jane's dad asks her,"Why do you do it ?". At that moment it reminded me of Jesse when his parents were on his shit. Jane and Jesse both knew the same pain of being a good person, but not with out their troubles, and in need of some compassion from their families.They were a modern day Romeo+Juliet....kind of.

But I feel like all I knew about her character was that she was an ex-junkie and 'tragically cool' but I suppose you never know that much about characters they bring in as the love interests on most shows.

@lilsisjodunham But that's what they do in alot of shows, they just bring in someone who understands and loves the main character without really exploring the character of the love interest. But I am actually planning on rewatching season 2 so I'll probably see more I didn't catch at first viewing. I liked it when they showed her interactions with characters other than Jesse [not that I didn't like her interactions with Jesse, it just felt as though that was all we saw when she was there] :)

You really can't blame it all on Jane. Although she didn't help too much either. I think she really connected with Jesse at first and really loved him. Jesse and Jane really weren't good for each other.

This is great. On many levels. First off, Breaking Bad is the best show to grace the television waves in many many a year. Both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul COMPLETELY deserved their respective Emmy nominations and I truly feel that Aaron Paul deserved an Emmy for his job well done in season 2. Anyway, otherwise, Cracker fucking rocks. I saw them at KNAC fest in Austin in '91 or 92. Peter Murphy was the headliner and Material Issue was there as well. Whatever, good video, lilsis...

@zackjmack Thank you for your comments. I agree with you completely about Paul and Cranston,but I think they totally robbed Aaron of an Emmy. The acting he did in season 2 was Oscar worthy. I hope his performance is even better next season just to prove it to everyone. My choice of music was dumb luck though. I never heard it before. I just googled my idea for the montage and Cracker popped up. It was perfect.Did you see Kristen Ritter's comment about this video below? Pretty cool!

That's awesome she replied to your video. You chose the perfect song for the montage, btw. Also, I completely agree with you about Aaron Paul's acting in last season. The kid is going places. On another note and about BB, imho, the most interesting element/aspect of the show is the relationship bet Mr. White and Jesse Pinkman(AKA "Chili" Pinkman, lol). It's along the lines of Laurel and Hardy/Odd Couple/Martin and Lewis, etc.. It's sad yet touching and fucking hilarious all at once.

Well he probably deserved to be slapped for something,but I'm not sure if it should have been for that. Jesse says alot of funny things. He also is a very down to earth person, very full of real and good human feelings, and he acts on those feelings. Very misunderstood by the important people in his life like his family. Jesse is full of potential but he likes to walk on the wild side.If Jesse doesn't realize his self worth before it's too late he will ruin his life forever. Any connections?

Yeah,I really liked how she played Jane. I didn't see it at first, but towards the end you really get to see that Jane was just like Jesse in regards to their family life. Especially when Jane's dad asks her,"Why do you do it ?". At that moment it reminded me of Jesse when his parents were on his shit. Jane and Jesse both knew the same pain of being a good person, but not with out their troubles, and in need of some compassion from their families.They were a modern day Romeo+Juliet....kind of.

Wow! Thanks! I love BB. I think Jane understood and loved Jesse the moment he ask her to give him a break, because of his family and everything. Sometimes terrible things happen between 2 people,very sad,but makes for a great story line. You did an amazing job as Jane gonna miss her part in the show alot.
