Hey everyone, this version is NOT the original. The original was released in 1992, with Eric Clapton and Michael Kamen. It was an artistic collaboration. Sting re-recorded this song one year after, without clapton and kamen, for the album 'ten summoners tales'

This version is all class. Sting captures a mood here that is sureal. I remember the first time I heard this song I had my headphones on walking in downtown Philadelphia with snowflakes coming out of the night, It was one those moments where everything comes together for an amazing experience..Thank you Sting and thanks for posting this.

This is one of Sting's best arrangements and one of the best songs he's ever song. Back in the 90's, while stationed in Germany, my GF and I danced to this song on a darken office of a Frankfurt skyscraper. It's quite thrilling to dance like Fred Astire-Ginger Rogers with the beautiful skyline as a backdrop to the cool vibes of It's Probably Me. We'd also danced to Amy Grant's Our Love, Sandra's One More Night and Kylie Minogue's Put Yourself in My Place. Guys, place that on your bucket list!

@Borys94 You know, I do remember this song was like the opening of LETHAL WEAPON 3, but I always thought it was this version. I didn't know there were 2 versions until now. Absolutely no disrespect to Mr. Eric Clapton, but I prefer this version. The muted trumpet just enhances this tune. In fact, I always thought this song---hell, instead of using this song on LW3, even though this song was a few years old, I believe it should have been used on a different movie---CLOSER.

Maybe you're right but you have to bear in mind, that it was recorded for Lethal Weapon 3. Harmony, chords of this version would be too strange for average audience and won't probably fit to the movie.

I don't want to say that version with Eric Clapton is worse. That bluesy solos and violins really have that... something.
