easier way round the 47 into 50 so you had to add 3 so try 72+3-50=25

I usually do this: I take 72 and see its difference to 67 or 77 ( I tend to use the lower one) and subtract 47 from 67 and add the difference or subtract 47 from 77 and subtract the difference.

i found it easier to work with the 47 add 3 to make it a 50 then add 20 then add 2 and just add them all up

if you add 3 to 47 then just add 3 to 72... you will have 75-50.. easier that way... with subtraction... it is easier to do that... for example... 643-279.. if you add 21 to 279 to make 300... then just add 21 to 643 to make it 664... then it will be easier to take away 300 from 664 than 643-279.
