Actually, it is microwave safe, but not the lids :) i looked it up prior to watching this video!! so there you have it.. :D

I read that the urara bento boxes are microwave safe if you remove the lid.

Your red bento is adorable (I've got the blue version of it). It took me the longest time to figure out that the red one had rabbits on the top -_- all I could see were two lemons or an alien heads. I'm slow. Thanks for the video, it's great to see these things actually in someone's hands and hear some of the applications

i got one exactly like that red bento...and i can heat it up in the microwave...but the size was SOOOOOO small! i swear, looks like it should be for a kid instead of a grown up...hahha

how about you making some videos on how to make food for bentos. I think that would be a great idea becuz i have trouble finding things to put into my bento. hahah

The user I purchased the bento box with included accessories was "nippon-treasures", on eBay Australia. He/she was getting rid of some items before returning to Japan, I think. I'm afraid he/she doesn't have any more items left for sale. :( The other accessories (food picks, sauce containers with lids) came from user yingka*bento. Very quick to ship from Hong Kong to Australia. I received my goods within a week. Hope that helps.

@icestar188 Theres a website actually a little anime/manga fan website actually that sells these its jbox(dotcom) or should be it has a section that says bento from japan and they have bento boxes as well as little cutters and things like she has in the video little tooth picks and such. I haven't ordered from it yet but i came across it while trying to find somewere to buy bento from :D
