I'm doing a Voyager marathon and , having just finished "Year of Hell", my first thought was to use this track for the series. I'm pleased to find that someone was thinking the same exact thing. :-D
Although my idea was to illustrate the journey through the whole series (rather than the 2-part finale) so I'll probably still go ahead and try and do my own version. :-)
But I still think you did a great job with this :-) Five stars!
The orignal star trek will always be the shit. STNG was almost always fun to watch, there were alot of forgetable episodes. But when Q was on, That was the best. Deep Space Nine was great, I actually preferred the 5th & 6th seasin to the 7th season though. The last season just wasn't up to standard. Watching Ezrie Dax trying to find herself was just fucking boring & very annoying. Voyager was fun to watch at times, there were alot of good episodes, but it fell short. Scott Bakula on ST, garbage!
DS9 IMO was the best of all the series, sans the religious crap we had to contend with at times. It had the most realism, best character development and best special effects. 85% of TNG was garbage - Love Boat in Space.
Voyager was also very good but the ending was too rushed.

Without Star Trek The Original Series and Star Trek The Next Generation then Star Trek Voyager wouldn't ever have been made or possible. Star Trek The Next Generation including the first 6 films were the ones got Star Trek back on its feet. TOS and TNG are both legends now and the best and they are not boring. They are pretty enjoyable much as Star Trek Voyager is. All 5 Star Trek series including the animated series and all 10 Star Trek films are the kings of Sci-Fi in my book.
After seeing the teaser trailer for the 11th film was awesome and I think it will be a badass film now. I can't wait to see it and I think it will be good as Batman Begins, the Dark Knight, and Transformers!!! It has the same writers that wrote the Transformers movie and it was an awesome movie!!! So yes, I think it will work and will be a great movie if that is what J.J. Abrams is trying to make!!! Star Trek deserves to be #1 not another failure!!!
I come fat this from a different angle. I liked the TOS and TNG, but it just started going downhill from there once Roddenberry died. In fact, he was actively trying to stop Paramount from doing DS9 because he'd said everything he'd wanted to say with TNG. Honestly, I don't blame him. Left in Paramount's hands, they all but killed the franchise. There's only so many different ways you can say the same thing after 40 years, and Paramount's run through all of them. It wouldn't kill them to stop.

You're right DS9 was a dismal failure, and it did a lot of harm to the franchise. However, Voyager was the apology; much as Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country was the apology for Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.
DS9 brought too much doubt and drifted too far from Roddenberry's original vision of the future, that's why it failed. Voyager revived the franchise a little, then Enterprise killed it again; Star Trek Nemesis saved it once again, and hopefully this new one will do it justice

Geneviève Bujold really screwed up not taking Mulgrew's role as captain. For those of you that don't know Geneviève was cast as the captain but quit on the second day of filming for whatever reason. 7 years of great salary and years of residual income from reruns down the drain. Can't picture anyone other than Mulgrew as captain, she did a fantastic job.
To hear them tell it, it was a mutual agreement that she was just wrong for the role, but I think there were subtle hints that it was her attitude. Apparently she was somewhat of a prima donna.
I love Kathryn Janeway she the best captain, but praps she shouldve pulled that massive chip off her shoulder and got laid, maybe by the stunning borg on board!!

Janeway really cares about her crew: you can see that in all of the episodes especially this one where her future self sacrifices herself to save them after Janeway's crew's loyalty causes some of her old spirit to return to her.

This ep was brilliant. Star trek is the f'n best. Great ending aswell... it's a shame everything amazing must come to an end. Let's just hope in 200-300 years we can do the same... well our future generations.
perfect ending is that voyager gets into the conduit, almost gets home but the conduit breaks. Then picards enterprise is the closest ship and goes to assist. Throws everything at it, draws the borg fire, and the blow the fuk outta the borg together in a thrilling final episode... thats how it should have ended.
This was a great episode, but doesn't anyone think that it was a little to easy for Voyager.
Think about it! Ablative Armour, a superior defense against the Borg, Transphasic torpedoes that can destroy a Cube in 1 or 2 hits.
What happened to the quick adaptiveness of the Borg? Before anthing they could adapt their shields in a second, or usually the second shot of the same weapon on the same frequency is ineffective.
ST:TNG Borg episodes are the best, it shows the frightfulness and strength of the Borg, their relentless, especially annihilating the fleet at Wolf 359 on 'The Best Of Both Worlds'. That episode showed what Starfleet would do to protect Earth against a ruthless enemy.
I could go on comparing the Borg on all Star Trek(s), but it'll take too long, lol.
I can't wait to get Star Trek Legacy for Xbox 360 on Tuesday!!! Legacy feature the voices of the all 5 captains and that is so cool to have all of them on the same game!!!
I'm planning to get all 700 episodes from TOS, TAS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT, and including the movies. So far I got the first 2 seasons of TNG & ENT and Nemesis on DVD.

I agree with DreamMaster2007 they really need to make a movie for Voyager. BEST. SEASON. EVER.
