hoban is my local mp. i wrote a letter to him about something concerning me (as you do) and he was a complete twat about it. so i voted against him for the other conservative mp running in my area and the tit got back in ffs!
@graviogranulio there were two concervatives running i voter for the other one but in the end he got back in because of the stupid idiots who voted him that live in my constiuency
Is Mr Hoban really a Conservative MP? Or is he a plant left over from the previous administration? He seems so in favour of heavy handed regulation that it does not fit in with his leader's idea of The Big Society. He seems to want regulation that would fit in with the worst excesses of failed Communist countries and failed New or Old Socialist lack of thinking.
Mr Hoban is supposed to be acting in the best interests of the constituents of all MPs in his position on the Treasury Select Committee. I suggest he remembers this and listens to the public, listens to the other MPs and consults the IFA community. As a Level 4 qualified IFA with 31 years in the industry and a degree from many years ago, I suggest that he speaks with me and others equally or more qualified to find out what we actually do and how we work. He might find it enlightening!
Does Mr Hoban understand the meaning of the word 'transparency' ? Perhaps he needs to consult an IFA to find out more about this subject - it certainly wouldn't cost him £150.000 !
Hobans received payment for "advice and services" for £150,000 from Oliver Wyman Ltd, who list their core business activity as Corporate and Retail banking and the identification of opportunities for growth. They are also on the RDR implementation committee that gives advice to Hoban. Even more worrying when you look at the membership on the RDR implementation committee - a string of bankers, advisers to bankers and former FSA officials and yet no IFA’s.
So many people who served to protect their country from foreign enemies, now having to protect it from domestic ones. Keep fighting for what's right, Mr. Bloom.
