@AustinBrock No,It's just annoying how much you advertise.Yeah,so you have uploaded some full RH gigs and stuff, big whoop.I'm sure everyone else has better things to do with their time, huh.
Are you that desperate for attention?Jeez, glad I'm not like you.
@AustinBrock Forget about that guy Austin, i'm a great fan of your RH videos, for me u're (almost) a legend on Youtube! :P eheh. Tks for your great vids! :)
Fuck! Pearly ! what atune there are SO many ! Oh and Coldplay?? if only they could play then would stand a chance of being in the same league as Thom and Radiohead
You could make an album of B-Sides from RADIOHEAD that makes a mockery of just about any bands A releases. It's quite sickening what a catalogue of unreleased shit they have.
I sort of think Talk Show Host belongs on OK Computer. I sort of think I Want None of This belongs on Rainbows, Pearly belongs on The Bends. It's crazy. Fucking crazy.
probably will be... just a matter of time. how to disappear was unreleased for a long time (early versions were much better - almost johnny marr-ish guitar playing) as well as others.
Bravo! A great Radiohead momment! Thom's voice and the whole performance is flawless. I love this specific version of Lift, terrific, thanx for posting that!
Reason Lift wasn't released is because it was attempted during the OK Computer sessions in 96 but they had too many Great songs to filter for the final tracklisting, it didnt make the cut ...so its been put aside, they have 2 recordings of the song, maybe itll come out on a rarities album one day :)
fantastic, god i love radiohead, i just download the new album for 5 pounds and its one of the best i have heard. so glad the money goes to the band and not a fucking record company, bravo to the best band on the planet for doing that, its how music should be. and btw dam i wish i was there for this live performance.
Me too. Its the most wonderfull thing i've seen and heard since I saw them in 1998. It's not a particularly strong song melodically but it's the arrangement, performance and passion that surges throughout it. And I just love Thom's beautiful, fragile vocals. Oh how I miss this band (as they were)
Wow, that's so cool!!! I was there, it was great. I remember Thom taking off the raincoat at the start of Creep, the whole audience wowing him and then him showing off his bare chest. Imagine him doing that now!
man... when you listen to the first few chords... you begin to realise how much coldplay rip off radiohead. 'yellow' (one of colplay's biggest hits) sounds unashamedly like this.
Oh yeah I never noticed that before, it really does sound the same at the start, Thom should call his laywers:). Lift is still a million miles better than Yellow though.
OMG OMG OMG OMG !!!! RADIOHEAD .. are they non human or something ? i mean this tune didnt even go NEAR a studio and yet its better than anything any indie band could make today .. radiohead oh how different this world would be without you
This band has changed my life. What an uplifting special song. I agree with sashwap...it is scary how talented Radiohead is. Just the fact that this song has been left off of their albums is amazing. This is a better song than most bands can ever hope to come up with.
I have the whole Pinkpop 96 performance on my profile in DVD quality, as a single video might I add ;).
