I listen to a lot of Scottish folk music so I wasn't TOO lost but the word "ptlairchie" has me stumped. I take it to mean a great fright (much like the word "pfleg". Is this correct? Thank you. I've always used an Irish accent for my character as it seems to come natural to me. I'm careful not to overdo the accent like most. But I might like to try Scots though it may be harder. However, you might not want "Old Agachak" associated with your country, heh. He's something of a blackguard.

This is possibly because of Norwegian settlement in the North East around the 10th century leaving a residual linguistic effect.
