@MonicaAshery hi there, im kenyan and your comment that u speak original swahili from tanzania is misinforming. Swahili did not come from tanzania. Swahili is spoken in Kenya, tanzania, rwanda, burundi, congo and alittle in a few other countries. all these swahilis are different so u cant quote any as original. if anything swahili came from congo (it belongs to the kordofanian family of languages ita a niger-congo language).
@MONICAASHERY i am born of a kenyan father and a tanzanian mother and i can tell u that Tanzania unlike other eastafrican countries hasnt accomodated other international countries.e.g Kenya is an anglophone rwanda a francophone. visit kenya, rwanda, burundi and congo and realise that there isnt original swahili they are just different but we understand one another, this ego of everyone claiming to have the best swahili is being uninformed and enlightened
@Monica another deception is that asian interaction with bantus is what gave birth to swahili. that is wrong cos it existed way before thats why if u study the history of swahili u will realise u r wrong to say tanzania swahili is original. cos as bantus migrated from congo to kenya, tanzania and burundi, rwanda among other places they moved with their swahili
@MONICAASHERY another remarkable thing is that did u know that lingala and tshiluba are close to kikuyu and kikamba in kenya which are inturn close to some malawian languages not considering other bantu languages i havent interacted with. so i think that if we africans look at each other closely we wud realise we are one only with small differences that came over time due to geographical differences. thanx alot!
This piece is done too fast to begin with and when you get to the climax, U fall me wako, you need to add an entire measure because of other reasons to be addressed later, and the resolution of this piece seemed to fly so far away that the tenors are barely able to be understood if at all. The vocal part of this piece does not include parts where they sag before U fall me wako, and adding them ruins the piece and says you know better than the composer, and being a composer I find that offensive.
getting so many people to work together. great work!
