  • fuck that... assholes will never convert me to electric, i'll burn gasoline till i die!!!

  • @slingshot489 or untill we run out of gas, BUT YEAH!!!!!

  • This is going to be the future of over 1/2 of the cars on the roads in north america. Before 2015 there will be over 100 diffrent models of ev to choose from in north america and prices that will be cheaper to finnace than your cars current gas bill witch is more than your current food bill... Who would you rather feed at the end of the day your car or your family?

    Electric is the future!!!!

  • @tinderinc not for me with electric you get the sound of well to me it just sounds like white noise, with good old gasoline you hear a screaming bear and that is a much better sound.

  • OMG:O...it´ amazing!!I love it:D

  • 3:23 The cameraman was trying to catch a peak up.. lol

  • POLISH PROJECT!!!:)

  • concept cars always look crazy and cool then they release the actual car and it just looks like the same shit as any other car

  • I saw that audi irl and it's not their sexiest model in my opinion.

  • Shelby Super Cars is coming out with a car like this for 2nd generation i dont know much about though if u know anything about it tell me

  • Energy sources without the need for fuel or energy input exist ,But there are very powerfull forces that want to supress the technology,Check this free energy magnet motor at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Big change is comming soon!

  • how on earth do you get a car to weigh 1600kg when the car is made of plastic and aluminium and hasn't got a heavy IC engine .... It hink around 800 to 900kg is feasible when you choose the materials right.

  • @metro2002

    Battery pack, nuff said... :D

  • ok the tesla does 0-60 about 3.9 seconds and he said this thing has like 20 times more torque so were lookin at a car that does 0-60 in about 3 seconds flat. look out lamborghini, you might get your doors blown off by an electric car

  • lol @ jizz mag

  • great car, beaty and elgant, high tech and incredible performance, I like it,

  • واااااااااااااااااااااااااو

  • Bugatti Veyron OWNS!

  • audi is the shit

  • @SDieal Hmmm but Audi have been disapointing cos 60mph in 4.8 seconds yes that is fast! but compared to the Bugatti Veyron 60 in 2.5seconds no match and Audi should have known to make a powerful engine at this time the German engines are ruling the world even the Ferarri Enzo is faster then the E-Tron 0-60 in 3.2seconds and that car was out in 2003 - don't get me wrong I like the electric and the look of the E-tron a real head turner! looks sexy! i guess the price is fair for the specs

  • @xjay1234 dude wtf.. of course the bugatti veyron is faster then it its the 2nd fastest street legal car so of course its gona go faster then a eletric car.. and the bugatti veyron is 2x the price of the SSC ultimate aero which is the fastest street legal car. so dont go and compare the fastest accelerating car to an eletric audi..

  • @ILUMANATIx the guy in the video tried to make a little comparison with the E-Tron and the Bugatti you don't need to tell me the price differences I know that very well

  • @xjay1234 ok, i just saw ur comment and flipped lol

  • @ILUMANATIx why did ya flip

  • @xjay1234 cause you were saying audi was disapointing and comparing it to the veyron but whatever

  • @ILUMANATIx but comon dude! the Veyron is in a different league to this E-Tron! Everybody knows it - if I had a choice between driving a E-Tron or a Bugatti I would drive the Bugatti but I would prefer to have the e-tron as it is cheap to maintain and petrol is not a problem plus the bugatti DRANK! petrol like a bitch! lol but I love the Porsche Cayenne! sexy SUV

  • yeah true true.. for some reason i like gmc suv's like the 2008 yukon.

  • @ILUMANATIx I love hte BMW X6 one sexy SUV and the porsche cayenne another sex on wheels hard to choose which one is more nicer love the interior of both <3 sex on wheels

  • @xjay1234 You're generally right... but the torque makes this car so good in practical speeds that I'm quite sure it could compete against second tier sports cars on grip kind of races. And really that's an electric car - I am sure technology will get much better and we'll soon see 1000hp electric cars.

  • @AvihooI yeah of course! this is just the beginning but looks promising

  • r8 junior gone batteries! hahaha!

  • 3.27 - REFLECTION WIN!

  • @skyraptor lol

  • it actually would not produce pollution if the electricity it uses would not pollute ... that is this car is using electricity from nuclear plants or other polluters ... but its still an amazing maschine

  • yea in 2012 we will die woooohooooooooooo

  • car looks good, except for the rims, come on, who would want to clean each spoke on a nice saturday?

  • this is an electriccarthis might be cheap and good for the earth too because it does not produce pollution

  • @janmaomuriano Haha :D True xD

  • check out 3:25

  • HOLY SHIT that's INSANE torque

  • i like the lamborghini in the background alot better

  • what lamborghini there isnt one in this video the white car in the background is the audio R8 spyder.

  • thats a r8!

  • Lancer Evolution raped by R8 will give birth to E-tron

  • what lamborghini?

  • 4500Nm OMFG ~~!!!!

  • mmm its cool but naw thanks, give me the v12 TDI plz. Make that concept into reality!!!!

  • screw the audi R8 lets go audi e-tron the e-tron looks very nice and it u wont be puluting the air every thing about it is nice i am a huge audi fan i have a Audi A8 my

  • It's sleek, aerodynamic and named turd, which is also sleek and aerodynamic.

  • I think the future is here

  • @Waterbergacademy its been here since the 1990s

  • well all ur Gaz money will go on Electricity money ...at least ur not puluting u know

  • @hollowman113

    oh reaaaally?

and where do u think that electricity comes from?

atmoic reactors, coalraffinery, etc etc etc... highly risky and polluting.

and dont bring up windmills and solar.... both combined cant hardly manage to bring 10% of the needed capacity....

  • i like the color, everything else is no good.

  • Ahahahahah In French, Etron Means SHIT XD

I laughed a lots When I hear that But WOW this Car is Freaking Amazing. 4500nm O_O WTF

  • no it dont haah merd means shit in frnech

  • 4 500 nm,HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!! THEM ELECTRIC ENGINES HAVE SO MUCH TORQUE!!!.Imagine how much wheelspin there would be.

  • no wheelspin...

  • JRIPx, Sorry dude, but your wrong, just like any modern car Electric cars have traction control, turn it off and it spinns the wheels exactly the same as a car with a petrol motor of the same power.

Tyres don't care what drives them. Spinning wheels do not help when you are setting a 1/4 mile speed.

  • I wonder what the topgear guys will make of this one?

  • OzBudgerBeauty, Yes that will be interesting considering how they treated the Tesla, but Clarkson cerntainly was impressed with the acceleration. The power of the eTron should be unbelievable.

  • True. And I can't wait to see what Nissan's version will be like - an engine for each individual wheel!? Should be pretty amazing.

  • OzBudgetBeauty, Ya, will be very interesting. VW did a Mini EV prototype with 1 motor per wheel, stuck to the road like glue, real rocket too.

  • Love this car !!!, I had my first drive in a Tesla recently NIIIICE !

  • really?? Could you tell me more about how it drove? Was it much different to a combustion engine in the way it delivered power and handled??

  • MsFarq2, Yep I'm pretty dam lucky! The body and sus are lotus I think, all carbon fibre, we had it on a runnway and just floored it, the excelleration is fantastic!, the motor redlines at around 15,000, most people just describe it as "Holy Shit", It sounds like a cross between a jet and a wrx, its very low and your sitting right down. After doing about 30 high speed runs it still went home with half a charge! 4 door version comming soon and much lower price. LOVED IT!!!

  • Wow! My faith in the electric car is now on the ascent! Very much looking forward to getting behind the wheel of one someday... Thanks for sharing your experience

  • Thanks for posting up all your videos Noel, great to see whats at the motor show!

  • 4500 nm, and 230 kw. weird to get around isnt it

  • You need help.

  • this audi form the front it looks similar to bugatti veyron only from front when eva i see one i think its bugatti lol

  • 3:24 - 3:33 look to the left.

  • its pink wooot lol na u perv haha

  • looks red to me...

  • i think she shaved.

  • hahaha so glad i saw

  • @ZzZzBENJIzZzZ so ?

  • @ZzZzBENJIzZzZ

    You are pervert...anyway me too

  • How much do one of these cost? 0-100 in how many seconds? Anyone know?

  • it's a concept.. in other words that is the only one and its only an idea.. doesn't go.

  • it's a concept...

  • How much would one of these go for?

  • hhahaha I see shes wearing a g-string

  • Classic!!! A lack of basic engineering knowledge!

The eTron's 4500Nm is OBVIOUSLY measured at the wheels. The Tesla is measured at the motor shaft.. With an 8.25:1 final drive in the Tesla the torque is 375Nm x 8.25 = 3093.75Nm at the wheels.... only 30% less than the eTron!

Match that to the eTron weighing 33% more than the Tesla (1200 Vs 1600kg) and... performance is bound to be comparable!

  • you sure about that pretty sure you would lose torque not multiply it

  • Comment removed

  • Generally power would be lost on the way to the wheels from an engine. However you normally would gain torque depending on the gearing between the engine and wheels. For example when you put your car in a lower gear you gain torque at the wheels compared to a higher gear as the engine turns more revolutions compared to the wheels.

  • you mean you have a lack of engineering knowledge. Power and torque figures go DOWN when measured at the wheels rather than the drive shaft. And I dont know who told you to times a cars torque figure by the final drive because that is some messed up logic

  • Comment removed

  • Because electric motors have a very large rev range (with maximum torque available at all times) it is possible to select the gear ratio before hand. If you want a car with a high top speed but with good acceleration you just need an electric motor with a large rev range and shortish gear ratios. Whether manufacturers use an "outrunner" or just a simple setup with a couple of gears between the motor and axle i don't know.

  • Ur post is nonsense. Torque IS multiplied in the driveline. It is multiplied in the gearbox much of the time ( in anything other than direct drive 1:1 or overdrive ) & in the differential ALL of the trime. The rotational mass of the driveline also increases torque at speed. U clearly don't actually understand the definition or characteristics of torque & horsepower.

  • In cars fitted with overdrive units, the the O/D units are usually locked out of operation in lower gears. That is because they can't handle the huge torque multiplication that occurs in the low gears under hard acceleration. You should really learn first, then post. You won't make such a goose of yourself that way.

  • My comments re transmission torque effects were addressed to Traxxasking if there's any confusion.

  • what type of car is that?

  • its a bloody concept... its not real

the looks are based on the R8 tho

  • the best part of the interview was the last to sec (that girl fly)

  • why does an electric car need air intakes?

  • Im guessing for cooling purposes.

It would still get hot even though there is no petrol used.

    Cheers

    Mick

  • power produces heat. That much power will need significant cooling.

  • I want it NOW

cant wait for this technology to come. The major car companies teasing us like they are.

The question is, which car company will deliver first ??

    Bring it on

  • hmmm was anyone even looking at the car at 3:28?? I was kinda side tracked....

  • haha love it

  • I knw I wasn't!

  • Might be quite expensive, but still it could have a good price in Denmark since we got a 180% tax on normal cars, but 0% on fully electric ;D

  • imainge with tc off and wet road, you be wheel spinning the whole quater mile

  • VERY VERY SEXY!

  • Presenter 8/10, Video Quality 10/10, Audi production 1,000,000/10.

  • Presenter 3/10

I agree with the rest though.

  • second that.

  • Ok fair enough, i was thinking being next to Audi that made him 8/10, if it was next to BMW 3 max for sure.

  • Finally they are catching on... Hope it becomes general production, not limited. Good Stuff!!!

  • VERY COOL CAR
