  • I've had several people tell me that FT paramotors are like the ferraris of the PPG industry, lol from what I have seen - its true. the majority of others can be compared to a late model VW bug or a Geo metro for example, but that's just an opinion you may feel once you compare your FT unit to those of your flying buddies...:-)

  • @l0d0tek Yes no question the Flat Top is the ultimate right now. I've flown tons of different units and own 4 different brands right now and nothing is even close to the Flat Top. Especially the new Flat Top Ninja. That blows away even earlier Flat Tops. The Flat Top Ninja freaking rules!!

  • your use of social media to promote the sport and your quality top notch products is genius and effective. I love you, your videos, your service and especially my flat top ninja with the weight shift upgrade kit and air trike. love it more each day. definitely at the top with the best units on the market , once you own one you will certainly fall in love with it and see why FlatTop owners believe their units are superior to 99% of all others on the market .

  • damn it, I just tried to post a comment to say how freaking aswome your videos are and trying explaining how it would take not just one word, but rather hundreds of words to describe the awsomeness of this sport. then went on a tangent about how inspirational you are to thousands of people. , and how much i love my setup but I can't get it short enough to allow the post grrrrr

  • Great camera work!

  • Wow. This looks so fun. I need to get one of these

  • What got me is the video you guys have where the guy unpacks the gear, makes a loop, lands and packs the gear. All in 4 freakin minutes. And he took off from what appeared to be a cul'de'sac.

    Awesome.

  • @WaniuszY Ah that is an old video. Look at the newer videos as that same thing was done again in 3:15. That's another great thing about this sport, it is quick, simple and easy. You can setup and launch in a minute or so. Too cool huh?!

  • @imasuper0308 I'd love to see the look on that guy's face on the road as you flew by. Would you happen to have the link to that 3:15 video?

  • Wait until I finish paying my car off. I'm getting me a kit myself and the training package.

  • i would give anything to be able to do this

  • took me ages to find this video again... AWESOME....

  • @unusualphunk Yeah, we do have a ton of videos now! Thanks for checking this one out and for the great comment my friend!

  • @unusualphunk seriously, me too. it was one of the first ones I saw and then I forgot what it was called. it is simply the best PPG video out there, makes me think it's worth the risk to try it.

  • @olierthanthou It's a TOTAL life changing experience! My philosophy is "if you sleep 8 hours a day and live to be 90, you are asleep 30 years of your life, so it's the experiences that make the awake time count!" You gotta come touch a cloud with us sometime! Please give me a call so we can arrange a flight or lesson: 800-707-2525.

  • @olierthanthou Interestingly enough zero people have ever died on WPPGA Certified equipment to date. It may look dangerous but with the right equipment and training zero people have ever died. It is incredibly safe. That's an IF though, IF you get WPPGA equipment. Tons of people get injured & killed on total crap gear so you gotta make sure it is WPPGA Certified.

  • Superb!

    I want to fly too!

  • @vracan Awesome! Give me a call so we can discuss gear and training: 800-707-2525. I look forward to hearing from you.

  • What wing is that? ..and how fast are you going in miles an hour? My paraplane only did 26 MPH. I want to go faster. God bless Steve Synder.

  • @timandrew1 Right on Steve! Thanks for the excellent comment my friend! If you want fast, I've got you covered! Take a sec and give me a call so I can discuss which gear is best for your needs: 800-707-2525. I look forward to your call.

  • This looks like it would be so much fun! I'm guessing the fiscal barriers to entry to this sport are pretty high, though. Does anyone have an estimation for how low you could keep the initial investment in the United States?

  • @rabbitseatingpeople Thanks for the comment and question! Realistically, it's the cheapest way to own a personal aircraft. There are no licenses needed, which saves you a ton of money. Take a moment and check out the gear on our website - we have prices there. We also get used machines from time to time that are in great shape. Give me a call so we can discuss it further: 800-707-2525

  • Yes I have seen the Comp and I tried to enter buuuuut Im in Brisbane Australia and it only lets US Residents apply (bugga) oh well Ill just have to buy one instead but nice gesture though Thanks :)

  • @coolwaterice1970 No worries! There probably aren't a lot of people in Australia with a Flat-Top Ninja! You will have the BEST machine around! Thanks for the response and keep in touch!

  • Ive been watchin this video for months and savings as I go. I start my course in Oct 2011 and will be buying a Flat Top 200 Super at the end of it. I think imsuper0308 is Dell from U-turn USA and I love his videos. I cant wait to take to the sky's only regret is I didnt do this years ago, But its never to late to start. To all the PPGers out there, may your motors keep runnin and your wings be spread. Safe flying to all

PS I'll upload my first flight and hopefully the first of many

  • @coolwaterice1970 Thanks for the comment! Have you seen our "Enter for a chance to win a Flat-Top Paramotor Contest?" Visit our websites to enter! We are also giving away Super-Elite Lesson packages and discounts on gear! WOW!

  • That's great piloting mate but I would get shot at if I tried anything like that where I live!! Fantastic video.

  • Wish i could get a flat top, u take trade-ins for a quad with an mz motor? lol

  • @nateice1 Lol! What kind of wing and harness does that baby come with! You will get a Flat-Top someday my friend, and it will rock your life! Just keep in contact and let us know when you are ready. I'll set you up with some sick gear!

  • This is the video that got me started. No flat top but maybe someday..

  • @nateice1 Right on! Thanks for the excellent comment my friend. We just uploaded an amazingly scenic new video. Please check it out if you haven't yet. We would love for you to join us in the sky someday. It's breath-taking and a total life changer. Keep in touch - 800-707-2525

  • dont even try this. it is highly addictive!

  • @BranoGege You are right! We should get together and start a PPG rehab group! LOLOLOL!

  • you've inspired me so much, im currently waiting for my work to lift off... but i now know what a majority of my money will be going on... this looks like my true calling in life... i cant wait!

  • Freaking awesome!!!!!!!! What such beautiful countryside.

  • wow how tall r u... 7 ft???

  • Fantastic. Bit naughty but what a hell of a flight. Love that stuff.

  • Awesome......... lol

  • in this case, money can buy happiness

  • That looks aaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwsssssooooooommmmmmmmmmmeeee!!!!!

  • Out of all your videos, that's the best one. Come East, going to buy a paramotor in Maine, I live in Ct., had a paraplane in 84', when I'm ready lets fly Mt. Washington NH

    6200' tim

  • what a great vid.! awsome man!

  • hi man! i like this video!! :)

  • SUPER!

  • Guys, this is amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dude, you are my hero! Serious badassness

  • Sweet

  • DUDE....that is how you get down with a paramotor! Brings out the kid in all of us. =)

  • I did that with my paratrike -- people pulled over and watched me play. Still gotta do that under the bridge thing but I haven't found any tall enough bridges in NC. -- anyone can afford to fly a paramotor ( most people) -- these are more fun than a motorcycle and cost less than a Harley!!!!! --- Gitcha one and fly peeps!

  • what... 5 dislikes ... five peoples lives suck.

this video is amazing from start to finish,

    thanks!!!

  • that is the coolest thing ive ever seen! i soooooooo want to have a go at that OMG!

  • what brand cam is that? Very nice shot, very nice flight. Thank you guys.

  • @surrvey That's the GoPro HD

  • I was a little nervous on the end of that video... you guys were close...i would be afraid of getting tangled up with each other.... This video is so cool!!! I wish i had the guts to try this

  • 4:02 it is correct :)

  • I am in love with this video.... And I should be doing homework >:|. I'm buying one very very soon. When is your next trip to Italy? I don't take up much room and don't eat much!!!!!

  • Absolutely brilliant!!!

  • You must go through a lot of trainers, sorry, I meant sneakers. Forgot where you come from. Lol

  • imagine you would go to work by using this!! i'm sure it would be faster than using a car because you could fly directly where you want and avoid traffic jams.

  • MMMMMM americans!!!!

  • Very nice flying, are you sponsored by any company?

  • Please put more videos on youtube :)

  • The bridge was my favorite part... esp when the cars stopped! Laughed my butt off! Very nice job!!

  • Really enjoyed this video. You have such a good time up there. Nice flying also ;)

  • very very very nice!!! congratulations

  • Holy Wow!!! When you're skimming the road @ about min 4....That was freakin sweet!!! I would trip out if I was driving down the road and saw this. Oh how I wish I could fly:-)

  • @jayzillaablaze lol, naw people don't freak out, they just slow down and watch. Pretty harmless really. Seriously fun though, ya gotta get doing this as it is a total blast. Start right away so you can be flying next time instead of just dreaming about it:)

  • @imasuper0308 in the UK people would complain, and you'd get shafted by the authorities for breaking the 500ft rule. Sucks! Looks like quite a fast wing you have there.

  • No he's a fuc*ing idiot...... it's people like him that will loose us the freedom!

    Dell the super twat!!

  • ty dell, cant wait for the next vid...long water drag sounds awesome...got you flying tracy at beachblast on my page and the flatop has been awesome and i'm footlaunching the k2!!!! guess it will haul up a 260 lbs man in no wind!!! lolol

  • Whats next????

  • @813jrguerrero I've been wanting to set a really good record for the absolute longest foot drag on water. I was taking it easy in Italy as I didn't want to mess up their new motors or anything. I just need a nice calm day and to figure out how to setup the camera facing me and then I'll do some wild and crazy insane circle foot drags and wing tip drags on water. Can't wait to give it a go. If I crash that will just make the video even better:).

  • @imasuper0308 another question. As I see in your flight, you seem to be able to go wherevery you go and as high and down as you want, is it possible for example that you do all your flight say at 10 meters height ? or are you dependant of the caprices of winds and blasts from any side?

  • @youcantbeatfacts Yes we are free to fly anywhere we want and at any altitude. We don't fly in crappy weather though. We fly in good conditions with smoother air so we have very precise control.

  • wow crazy flight

  • man, dell that was just wild!!! cant beleive you did foot drags on a road with cars!!! you are a crazy man!!!

    bigdave

  • @nevrnuftorq Yea we don't get to fly like that in the USA lol. I had a blast. I loved it over there, can't wait to go do it again.

  • @imasuper0308 I have been watching videos of the sort, and I have seen how the parachute can fold onto itself and you are on a free fall, like a stone. I loved the video but it scares me to death, i mean, you dont know if a blast of wind is going to hit you one mile away by surprise, and what if the winds push you up and up, can you go down?

  • @youcantbeatfacts collapses are our friend and one of the reasons this aircraft is so safe. If you get nailed by a gust in a fixed wing it can flip you upside down and put you in a terminal situation. A paraglider just absorbs the hit and keeps you at a far more acceptable decent rate than any other aircraft. We don't fly in stupid weather though, we can but we choose not to. You learn a ton about the weather during your training so you know when to fly and such.

  • @youcantbeatfacts, and we don't know when some crazy driver will hit us head on on the way home from work at any given day either. When our time comes...

  • You wouldn't happen to be using the Hero HD camera would you?

  • @Bayboy150 Yes that's the one. It seems to work well for these types of shots.

  • When the bridge came into view - I was thinking this can't be in America. Pretty exciting to watch and really does a nice job of putting the viewer there.

Keep 'em coming! Great vids man. :-D

    Thanks!

  • Sweet flyin' Dell, aloha, Yeti

  • Your videos are great.....!!very beautiful sight!!!

  • how safe are they is there any risk of the lines breaking or been torn from the wing.

  • @FlyHighRC386 The gliders are fully certified and load tested to over 10g. No way will you ever break one, no way no how. Plus we carry reserves that will open in as little as 40 ft.

  • Sweet footage!!!

  • Awesome Video, wish i could carry the thing though (skinny 15 year old paraglider pilot) then i could show you some awesome stuff, fly safe, Allen Schwartz

  • @parapilot1453 I'm sure you can carry it no problem at all. My 13 year old daughter has no trouble with it so I"m sure you wouldn't. The Flat Top 120 only weighs 47 lbs. Very slick unit.

  • @imasuper0308 well, 47lbs is quite light (even lighter than my normal paraglider (Pod harness)) but i cant really run straight like that though, since ive already broken a prop on my dads paramotor (thats why were trying to trade it in for a Boom GTO for me) but later when i get either bigger and more build, or when i get really old and cant really run to much (thank God for trikes) then i may look into getting a ppg, but for not ill work on my Acro and XC`s

  • @parapilot1453 Awe that's too bad, yea it is hard when people try old junk and have a bad experience. You are not going to break a prop on a Flat Top though, it is a whole new world. Motoring is about 5 times better than free flying, ya just gotta get the right equipment. If you are ever out here in Utah, feel free to come by and I'll let you try out the cool stuff. Sooo dang fun man!!!

  • If there's a pond... It deserves to be foot dragged. Intense video man, awesome flying!

  • Yihaa!!! Nice style to Fly Dell ;)

  • That was Amazing!!

  • whats the thortle on that amazing i really want to do this!

  • @brotherlybrother11 I have a trigger throttle in my right hand which controls altitude. I also use the brake toggles as well in order to maintain zero altitude give or take 3 inches.

  • Thanks Dell, another fantastic journey. Keep 'em coming :)
