"The young lads from Liverpool" had grown up, but it had actually only been 6 years between the filming of "A Hard Days Night", and the release of "Let It Be" on the album of the same name, on May 8, 1970, (although "Let It Be" was actually recorded in 1969).

STILL, at the time of release of "Let It Be", both John and Ringo were ONLY 30yrs old (Ringo older by 3 months), Paul, 29, and George the youngest, at 27 yrs. My favourite band EVER!

Always loved this version because of the "there will be no sorrow" verse at the end, which was not the version on the lp or cd. I was hoping it would show up on Let It Be Naked, but it didn't. Also on Long and Winding Road, the movie version has the verse "anyway you've always known the many ways I've tried", rather than "anyway you'll never know the many ways...They finally put that version on Let It Be Naked.
