I didn't speed up the video at all. It is playing at regular speed. If you noticed the wheels slipping on the front locomotive they were doing just that. No Speeding Up Done
The MILW Zoo train is 15" gauge, the only commercially operated 12" gauge railroads are the Folsom Valley Railway and the Wabash, Frisco and Pacific, all other public 12" gauge railroads have been converted to 15" or 16" gauge.
I would love some more of this kind of miniature steam footage with locos blasting hard!!! Any possibility of sharing videos with me - I would be willing to send you 1 hr DVD by post.
That was pretty cool, glad you were there to get the footage of the locomotives coming up from the shop. Great to see 1916 back together and running again. I have only seen 1916 run when she was visiting R&GN in '02 and '03 on R&GN's Iron Horse Round Ups
@kschmidt626
Why did 1916's wheels are slipping?

Yes the 1916 was a bit slippery on its first run. I was glad that I was invited for the inagural run of 1916. It was great to see the doubleheader.

Take a look at "The Magic of Grand Scale Railroading" and you'll see #1924 running at nearly 40-50 scale mph up that hill (and light too!).
