I'm with tonderus8, megaman x had a good storyline interesting gameplay and was the best of the megaman series. Megaman or rockman is older and lamer than dis command prompt.

The first half of the X series was really good. X 5-8 went way downhill... and the X story was supposed to be finished after X5 anyway, picked up later with the Zero series.

I've got a strong feeling that Universe isn't supposed to be canon anyway. Just a "dream match" mash-up game.

@flamepanther i agree with that, x5 onwards was a load of crap, and thats exactly why they should focus on making an interesting story and gameplay like the first X games, even now i still play them now and then, they're the kind of games that youwill never stop playing, and following your zero series comment, they kept talking about the elf wars, they should make a game about that, 100 years passed between X and Zero, they should try filling that plot

@tonderus8 At some point they might. The Zero series itself fills in the gap that existed for a long time between X and Legends. ZX then fills the gap between Zero and Legends. That they make these retro tribute games isn't stopping someone like Inafune Keiji from doing a bigger project when he's ready. If they rush something like that, we'll just end up with another X5.
