I would like to know why natural disasters happen, like the one happening in Japan right now? Is it a necessary for us to witness such events to evolve?
It happens because our virtual reality must follow the rule-set that defines it. The ruleset (physics) says it is probable that to much pressure is accumulating along fault lines off the coast of Japan. A quake is the result. Same reason that if you drop something it falles down instead of up.
@acccccac, "Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for" An "asured expectation" is a synonym for "belief". A belief that what you hope for will happen is a good definition of "faith". So we agree on that one I dot think faith is a metaphor for anything in particular -- it is already very specific in its meaning -- as the definition implies - faith is a a belief that your belief is true.
@twcjr44 Actually you got the definition wrong. And faith doesn't have a specific meaning. If a beliefs truth is assured, then someone is vouching for it's truth, and to blame for it's falseness. So when you have faith, according to the post, you have a belief that what you hope for will happen, and the belief is vouched for (by god/Jesus). And that is not a good definition, IMO, since the definition has existential import.
Wonderful series of vids! (for what its worth), I highly recommend you watch them all. What he says in this series seems to be very congruent with 'The Law of One' series of books put out by LLresearch, which I also highly recommend.

Tom is the most enlightened wooden Indian I heard, Does he ever fall down, make a mistake, burp or display other human traits? But he sure is smart.

Hello Dr. Campbell,
According to my Bible (Hebrews 11:1), Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld.
If God is a metaphor for the larger consciousness system, what would you say faith is a metaphor for?
Thank you.
