Too bad the owner felt compelled to "modernize" this car with the 700R4 trans. Perhaps if he wanted to complete the transformation from classic to just another screwed up Corvette he should have also added air conditioning and maybe some of the latest 19" wheels. The radio didn't escape him though. He pulled out the vintage piece and installed the latest in Jap. technology, but managed to lose the under hood ignition shielding along the way.

It can rust around the windshield(lot of work)and the frame can rust.
From 75 on the floor in the Corvettes can rust because then GM switched over to metal floor.

@kylemlm corvettes are pieces of shit.. everyone knows that mustangs eat their asses on the pavement. i owned a 1986 and it was the biggest piece of yellow shit and weak fucking joke there was on the road.

Fibreglass yes...carbon fibre no. Not in 1969. (Carbon is spelled c a r b o n)
There ARE quite a few metal parts that CAN rust, you know.
