His teacher made him read once and he did it in a weird voice, so all the kids in the class started laughing at him and saying "Go back to China!". Also, students would offer him money just to speak. That's bullying. To my knowledge he wasn't bullied at VT.

His sister graduated from Princeton. His family tried to get him help on numerous occasions, too. I seriously doubt he was abused in his youth by his family. He was bullied in high school for not talking. That's pretty serious, but his aggression came during his senior year of his undergrad. He needed help.
