Hmm, I was wondering. What if you held the hair near her head. Wouldn't the machine just rip the hair in half and stop. Might be painful but not as painful as ripping hair and skin of the head. Also to those who say shoot the hair, unless he had a magnum or something the hair were too thick to shoot it off clearly and it might have either stuck in hair and second bullet deflected from the first into her head or actually even the first bullet could have deflected too.
