  • Don't know how many more ways to say it. This animal is not in my home as a pet. The video was taken at the rehab centre where volunteers work very hard with the animals.. He was free to come and go in and out of the jungle as he wished.

  • How there are people who keep wild animals just because they seem soft toys?

  • Making wild animals their slaves empty people

  • @distortionCAST

As I have said This bushbaby was a WILD animal that had been rehabilitated at this rescue centre in South Africa where I was working. At the point this video was taken he was free to come and go as he pleased and was in no way captive. I may take this clip off now as uninformed people keep stirring things.

  • @Ambwoolf just for empty souls its difficult to understand that the wild animals born in the wild so they´ve got to live in the wild. Do you enjoy to have a home ? imagine you loose your home and you were forced to move to the jungle.how you would you feel? well? I DON´T BELIEVE SO ! DO YOU THINK THAT ANIMAL ENJOYS YOUR BED AND ALL THE HUMAN ENVIRONMENT ?

  • THE PEOPLE THAT ENJOYS KEEPING WILD ANIMALS AT HOME SHOULD BE ARESTED. THE ANIMALS MUST BE IN THE WILD THERE THEY ARE HAPPY. THE PEOPLE THAT BUY THEM ARE SELFISH WITH STONE HEART

  • @distortionCAST I'm guessing PETA sent you right? lol

  • @distortionCAST clearly it is enjoying where it is at, it's purring, and since when the fuck do you know what the animal wants? So instead of being nurtured and kept alive, you want it in the wild being picked off by Livingston's fruit bats, hunters, and other predators? So shut the fuck up!

  • cute as hell. I want one now. lol :)

  • heh, he's cute.

  • hi i wanted to ask you some questions about your bush baby because i am interested in getting one and have been doing my research. i read that they pee in their hands and and wipe it on things to mark their territory ..is this true? and how are their smells? i dont want to get a really smelly animal. also can you tell me about their personalities. and any other information you can. i really appreciate you taking the time to read this

  • @whiteFACEyinYANG Yeah they mark their territory that way, but only when other males are around and it is mating season, BTW I don't think you can keep one legal

  • That is so cute my head just exploded...TWICE!

Why do people go back and forth over youtube?

  • there is one sentence that instantly defies the animal activists... dogs and cats are wild animals that decended from wolves and jungle cats!

  • Belo animal

  • People, i was not actually serious about getting a bush baby. I just think they're adorable. I posted the comment just for fun. Lighten up!

  • It amazes me that so many people think that because an animal like this is adorable, cute & fluffy they should be allowed to keep them as pets. These are WILD animals and should not be in domestic households except in exceptional circumstances. It's often because of people's ignorance, stupidity & selfishness that animals like these (which should be allowed to live naturally and without threat in their own environment) end up extinct or with the very few that do remain being in zoos.

  • Yes. How dare we want something that we like. What, do we have ambition? Jeese we're stupid.

  • lol vegeterian

  • Comment removed

  • A person doesn't have to be vegetarian to care about the welfare of animals. Oh, I saw your monster with the big green penis on your page. You might like to know that the word monster actually has an "n" in it, so it's not actually moster, which is the way you've written it. Obviously you're a bit ignorant about spelling too! Someone should give you a dictionary as a Valentine's Day present!

  • if the animal is happy, then it doesnt matter...

bushbabies, are a fucking disease, out in WA

  • Do you people even know what it's like to live in the wild? Slow Lorises are prey for almost every predator in Borneo. Do you seriously think it prefers life out there than a cushy living with a human tending to it's every need? You morons need to stop believing animals think like us. They don't believe in the ideals of freedom, they believe in being warm, eating and not getting eaten themselves. They prefer this, trust me.

  • pmcommando - Judging by your idiotic reply to my comment I'm guessing you're probably somebody who keeps animals that should actually be living in the wild. Of course life in the wild can be harsh but that's a WILD animal's natural habitat and natural way of living and humans don't have a right to keep wild animals as pets, confined in a small area and not able to live a normal life. Some wild animals survive to a ripe old age in their natural habitat and some don't .. same as humans.

  • haha thats why most animals grow to their owners and cant stand them leaving for even 5 minutes..their in paradise..even the bigger ones like lions..they can grow to love a human..its better than them being an afternoon snack for a bigger predator..

  • ok george of the jungle.

  • sshhhhh you're borring me already

  • @pmcommando But they are like us. Most humans also want to be warm, well fed and safe. Freedom is never apsolute, there are many different kinds of freedoms. There is freedom of movement and choice, the freedom that comes with a wild life, but then there is also freedom from hunger, fear and cold, something most of us will sacrifice other freedoms for, and this goes for animals as well as humans. Feeling safe is a big driving force.........

  • @pmcommando

you are right, i agree with you

  • First off, I truly don't understand why you stickle other people for grammar or spelling when your own sentence structure is that of a seven year old with down syndrome. You rant and rant, yet fail to prove a point.

Animals should be kept by humans. Captive bred pets, as the one above probably is, cannot be released into the wild. Dogs have been captive bred for tens of thousands of years, and are dependent on humanity. What makes you think that a pet would prefer not to be cared for?

  • Comment removed

  • Increditonz - I don't stickle other people for their grammar & spelling but I do if they're morons & write inane comments on here!! Oh, as far as your grammar's concerned, Down's Syndrome is spelled with a capital D and S and there's an apostrophe and small s at the end! LOL. Also, I didn't rant but made a valid point. What makes you think that animals "should" be kept by humans? Some are domesticated, true, but others are meant to live naturally in their own habitat, i.e.the wild. Duh.

  • No, you don't want one. May look cute and cuddly but after a few months in captivity, they grow to be timid and show hostility, they urinate on there hands and feet.

  • I want one!!!! Barry, you are so cute! No, like seriously, I want a bush baby! How do I get one?

  • I don't know if you can have one legally. Bushbabies are primates and laws about primate pets can be very strict in some countries. In any case, I suggest you to check your country's specific legislation to see if you can have one of this cute animals. But remember: having a primate is a big deal, so think twice before making a huge mistake.

  • They're really not good pets, we reaised an orphaned one and it got to a certain age and started attacking everything

wildlife rehab centre in South Africa

  • Hi there, do you mind me asking how you went about volunteering there and what it was like? I'm deciding between 3 different wildilfe rehabilitation centres at the moment.

  • You guys are spelling center totally wrong.

  • That's actually the European way of spelling "center". A lot of words ending in ER in the US are RE in European English.

  • its like a tiny cat

  • can you have these as pets?

  • Gorgeous creature - and can't blame anyone for wanting to nurture and pat them. However, when all is considered, they're better off left in their natural habitat.

  • Barry was free to come and go as he pleased but tended to come into the rehab centre for a bit of company. He was not a pet.

  • So I've since gathered from your other comments. Very nice visitor.

I have Brush-tailed Possums visit my home here in Australia every night for a feed and a bit of a pat.

  • looks like a sugar glider

  • Aww so adorable

    I wont one

  • it likes it when you rub its armpits

  • I took care of one of these guys (a lesser bush baby) too for 6 months in South Africa, he was the most amazing animal ever, more like a little son than anything else as he lived with me for some of the time, he had lost his parents so came to stay at my research centre and lived in my room for a while. I have never had such a naughty and cute pet before. Sadly he dissapeared quite a few months ago, but hopefully he is happy now in the wild. Barry reminds me of him totally.

  • omfg, i want one right now!!

  • They are so endangered. To bad they're really cute to.

  • wow your fucken retarded their not endangered only a certin kind is
