yo does your parameter knob ever act up ? or shoud i say both sound knobs for some reason my knobs are alil glitchy lol like it sometimes like to be stuck on midi  and not scroll to the sounds .. and setting temp its verry touchy .. im wondering if anyone else has these problems

Damn I don't have a reference manual so I can't sequence on my ASR for nothing. Somebody hook me up. I been twistin knobs all day but I can't setup 4 bar sequence. WTF!?! Somebody help me out.

Appreciate it. I think I know what the problem is though. My current tempo is stuck on MIDI, and I'm killin myself trying to figure out how to change it. I've tried tappin in the bpm and that doesn't work. So somethings wrong. My black box works fine but the pads don't work. It's not the pad assembly either. It's somethin' else. You know how to take the current tempo off MIDI?

If you haven't figured it out already,

1.Hit the System Button

2.Use "Parameters" to scroll to "Midi Settings"

3.Choose Yes

4.Use "Value" to scroll to Internal.

Either or. The ASR-X does have more effects and built in sounds. MPC2k has a better sequencer and better pads. I bought as ASRX since it was only $175. Samplers are all about what you put into them.
