@yusufulhas Salafis are not starting to incorporate tasawuf & tawwasul, it has been always with us but the difference is the strict adherence to the Qur'an & Sunnah & the understanding of the pious salaf. Much of the tasawuf & tawwasul that is being taught today is filled with shirk and/or bid'ah. Many Sufis today are hiding behind the Ashariyah Kullabiyah sect as well as incorporating beliefs of the Jahmiyah. The ultimate is result is that in their circles they're practicing clear shirk.

not "abtaar" -- he said aqTaaab, literally it means "poles" (like the north pole and the south pole). aqTaab in sufi beliefs are high ranked people with miracles who make the religion for the lower ranked sufis.
Like in this debate, Ahmad Al-Refa'i is considered a quTub (qutub, singular for aqTaab) for many people.
