I see the comment section talks alot about the odd icons. My old school friend owned this game and i noticed his icons were diffrent as well! It probobly depends what version you got. Alot of games have multiple versions to combat bugs espetioly on older games before DLC's and updates.

The one you did on Papu papu's stage is the one N oxide uses. The REAL illegal one for Papu Pyramids is when you jump ON the wall before that jump you did. And ride along it and jump off it right in front of the finish line.

@alejandro1000o That is no way the PAL version for sure. I own the PAL version, and while it does show those icons on the back of the box, the actual game looks different.

It could be an early adaption of the final game, or perhaps your version is different to mine.

I've never seen the one on Hot-Air Skyway before, but the one on Papu's Pyramid isn't illegal, as Oxide uses that shortcut as well.

@TetsuyaBrazil yeah but before that they should get rid of the ridiculous shortcut in "Hot Air Sky Way" (the huge shortcut, not the one viewed in this video), and the ridicululous shortcut in "Polar Pass" (the one where you skip all of the water platforms and get to the last platform directly, it's hard to pull it off but it can be done)...

What exactly makes a short cut "ilegal" according to you? Sambennett, crash68, and luca all used those two shortcuts when posting world record times. They're very "legal" as long as you're skilled enough to use them :P

@pivotkraner nah, the beta icons are still in the original game.. there is some instances it appear, example, converting the ctr iso file to psp eboot, it will expose the beta icons, and sadly converting it to eboot, removes the built in cheat codes...:/
