Micro Mesh - Dome port polishing

Hi Andy, any tips on the deep nicks in the acrylic? I sanded it down, but still see some distortion in the center of the dome. IS that normal or I should the sanding again?

I've done that with stone sculptures and it's really neat to see the same process polishing a dome port
