  • korean food tastes so amazing, but it takes a lot to make it, which is why i love it all the more. it's so unique.

  • thank you very much!

  • Can you scramble the egg instead of poaching/frying it? I love eggs but don't like them poached or fried.

  • @9HereticPrincess9

Honestly it doesn't matter what you do with the egg. Poaced or Fried it's really all the same. You just want it in there for the color and flavor.

Raw, Fried, Poached, Hard boiled, Steamed? However you choose.

  • @KonoeH Most commonly, the egg is simply sunny-side up. Hard-boiled egg? Nah, that is more for mul naengmyun.

  • @Maangchi, nevermind I did a search for it and your ingredient page came up with it on it. It is called fernbrake.

  • What is kosari, some sort of sea plant? It's not on your ingredient page Maangchi. :)

  • thumbs up if u got here from Nigahiga :D

  • Ah! will 2 cups of kosari take 40 cups of water :O

  • Great presentation of food and guide on how to cook it! Korean food is the healthiest Asian food, because very little oil and fat is ever used in the cooking process. I lived in South Korea for 18 months, and I miss the traditional fashion of Korean cooking. In Australia the only real chefs at restaurants are International students, they simply can not cook like Halmoni. I know my food well, mainly Italian food because I worked in may restaurants in Australia. Kamsahamneeda.

  • Auntie you cook really well. Keep it up. :-)

  • i heard thats is cold and hot ver of bibimbaop . what the diff =D

  • @virgo321 the "cold" version is the one in the video. the hot one has a hot stone bowl. it just depends on how you like you bibimbap. Both ways are delicious! But i prefer mine with the hot stone bowl.
