Sounds soooooooo unlike the real thing. Essentially, DCC Sound does not work. The problem is the sound that you are trying to replicate compared to the size of the speaker fitted to the model. Its a little bit like using earphones on max volume as speakers for your TV.
great these dcc sound locos, I just got one can you tell me do you have to enter functions into controle system after having switched off at mains , and are they a bit slow to respond at setting off, compared to normall dcc loco`s.
It's a great loco and deocder. I also got one and take a vedio on youtube. If it can increase the front light and rear light, I will feel it's a prefect loco on Bachmann.
It is 00 gauge. It doesn't have lights as there is not too much space left inside. You can control the loco with any DCC control system. It's a great loco. It hasn't left my layout since I got it.
Cool. I like this locomotive, i think though it should have lights though. But still i might get one when i can afford it. Oh and i saw this on model rail forum and used the link.
cool video, I'm planning to get the same cl20 soon, just wondering, is the speaker in the cab? and can you control the sound with the bachmann ez command basic control system?
Speaker is under the fan grill on the roof, yes you can control it with the EZ but you cant change the CV's and trust me you will want to turn the sound down.

wow, those sounds are great, sort of sounded like a jet engine, saves on making those sounds yourself as the trains go around.
