I was only 8 year old and living an hour outside the city in CT when this came out but it was breakthough and different that's why I fell in love with this song. It would play at least 4 - 5 times a day on the radio. LOVE LOVE LOVE this track!!

Way ahead of its time asthetically speaking. samples cut an spliced with tape, it took a long time to do it like that back then. Now it can be done in seconds with Pro Tools or some other digital recording software. These guys made it flawless back when it was done by ear and by hand. Much respect..
