Hey if you're looking for a dance club that you can dress however you want I'd say Smartbar. I love that place! Great music! And you can wear a hat and big UFOs. Other Chicago bars that play the music you want to hear have dress codes.

So far the rave scene is pretty small. It's more underground scene and all the rave kids just show up which is kinda a diff vibe I've been noticing. I love TFU but yah I rarely ever see more than 100 ppl at any scene. Honestly, the scenes feel like frat house parties with drugs and rainbows LOL And Congress isn't really underground...tho it is pretty badass :D

i agree that the congress isnt underground. that was my point b4(it came out wrong!), i was saying that the party that night was SUPPOSED to be totally underground & was at the congress<--a completely mainstream/legal venue. like i got tricked into thinking it was gonna be underground and it wasnt. whatevs, it was still a fun time, and thats all that really matters.

bob, dont hold it against SB/SIT tho. they usually have bomb parties, i guess they had little choice in the matter. but thats DEF the last time I ever go there. do u really only see a hundred ppl? ive only been to one recently where there was under a hundred ppl(teddy grams). id say the avg is more like 400. which IS pretty small still. hope to see u around Bob, im the tall whiteboy who wears a furry timberland hat all the time and death metal shirts. peace!

Started when the mayors friends daughter went home RoLL-N and her dad got all pissed called his buddy...thats when Daily cracked down on the scene. The midwest was hit by a domino effect I think. @westsidestory23 i guess im out of the loop. im 33 and went to parties when i was 14-24. it was a good run but im so over it. i basically promoted to go to parties for free. im sure there's still a good scene in chitown, i honestly have no idea now a days. but the last time i went to a club (NEO) the flyers were totally commercialized so i guess i made an unfair judgment off those flyers. by underground i meant word of mouth, map points, party in some abandon whearhouse, runnin off generators.

i dunno about TEN...around there. some others u didnt name...Intergruv, Seismic Bass/Shake-it-Town(sb/sit), Pura Vida, NewBreed, Alliance(rockford), & Virtual Insomnia. i think 'Source' is really a few others put together...like, if its a "Source party" it's rly 3or4 crews working together<--not sure tho. if im wrong than im a dumb cunt. u rave in the Chi too, Kidman?
