Breaking the rules when it comes to fashion and jewelry is fun! I love breaking the Rules #2 and 3. Mixing metals gold and silver goes with pretty much everything you wear. A great casual look! I agree with Kathryn when she said the more color the better! Colors make everyone happy!

Enjoyed the breaking-the-rules seminar! Have been breaking the mixed metals one myself for quite awhile now, simply because it's creative and so much more fun. Also getting used to wearing a pile of arm candy as opposed to just one bracelet...again, much more fun and interesting. As for color, have always loved it, especially carried through in your jewelry.

I love the tips. I have been plagued by the "don't mix silver and gold metals" for years and just this year started doing it and I just love it. I have a beautiful gold ring of my late father's and my engagement ring in white gold from my sweetie fiance. I cherish both and never leave the house without either on my hand. I also mix bracelets I have from my mother and father in gold vs. sterling silver. They look great together;) Makes me happy to wear these sentimental pieces together.

The only rule I still have problems breaking is the "More is more" When I wear too much, or even the same things as someone else, I feel overdone and that people are staring. I just need practice. But otherwise I think that stacking rings and bracelets is great; its just the big necklaces and big earring combo I have issues with.
