The only problem is there is no sense of freedom in this chorus. You should be dancing and feeling the swing. It was just missing that feeling of jazz. There were too few tenors. Great song, but director, make 'em dance to it. They should make the music their own before performing jazz. It's not Wade in the Water which is easy enough to put together with any choir. The one exception is "Wade in DE Water" which is in 8 parts and terrifyingly good.
