Great to see this again. I taped it off IFC the year they ran it but lost the tape - great interviews with Jagger and Pallenberg; always inspired by Mick's advice to Donald to 'get out there.'
Thank you for putting this up. I have been into Performance and Demon Seed since my youth. Donald was an dark soul who made great art. Great to hear and see people like James Fox and Nic Roeg talk about their experiences with Cammell. His work speaks for itself and his reputation as a filmmaker is growing by the day. People ahead of their time always pay the price for their genius. Performance has not lost it's power over the years. I can only imagine how people reacted when It was first shown.
Kind of a waste though. Reminds me of the Leonard Cohen song "Waiting for a Miracle." Seems like he waited his whole life for his magnum opus which never really happened.
Thank you for posting this. I missed everything but the last ten minutes when it aired.
