I miss those butiki in our house. It is such a normal thing in any Philippine households to see them on our ceiling eating mosquitoes and sometimes cockroaches too. Never thought of touching them though because our cats like to catch those lizards. Thanks for the very informative facts on our native butiki :)

'Til now, I'm kinda scared about touching them because when I was young, people often tell me that they bite(the "tuko") and they are dirty..
