Do you have to lift off of the gas when you shift or is it so computerized that you can stay on the gas when you shift?

@colorchanginchev No, just keep the foot planted and the car sorts it out. This mode, S6 is the fastest one and you should be very careful on how you drive the car when it is in S6. Driving out of a corner and doing a full throttle shift won´t be good because the shifts are so brutal and fast that it could make the rear end lose traction and you could end up on the side of the road.

we have three bimmers in my family, i have a 00 528 my mom has a 98 740i and my dad has an 06 x5 with the sport package and i will NEVER EVER buy another car but a bmw, they are truly the best cars ever. they put mercedes and audi to shame in my opinion, don't get me wrong they are nice too, but BMW is truly the best no matter what anyone says <3

@brbroberts1 The road gets very twisty actually but I was a bit confused about the camera, I thought that it had full battery but it didn´t so I never got to the part of the road that is very twisty. The camera made a signal about the battery dying on me so I shut it off. Now this video seems like very straight but it isn´t that straight. I´ll be sure to have full battery next time and trust me, better videos will come on even better roads.

@MrBazpoker Thanks for your kind words, I´m glad you liked it :D Yeah that V10 is one crazy engine, a real icon and is indeed one of the very best engines in the world. My M button setting is:

Power: P500S

Shiftlevel: S6

EDC: Sport

DSC: Off

I always drive this setting, it sharpens up the steering and throttle, I love it :D

@lalala4456 No, just keep the foot planted and just shift, it takes care of the changes itself. I am careful though when I go into sharp turns, you should never change gears in the corners, the gearchanges are so agressive that the rear end could breake lose. If driven proparly, a guy never has to change gears in the corners, its like a rule...braking and gearchanges are done on the straights, this is for minimizing the risk of loosing traction in the corners.

@dracojah Yes I still own the car, I will probably never get rid of it, love it to death!! It has about 50k miles now. It is always expensive, mostly due to the fact that it takes a lot of money to run it, gasmilage is horrible and the maintance is expensive both its worth every penny, more people should be able to enjoy such a fantastic machine, its crazy how good the car really is.
