People, Harry didn't die. He never died, not even temporary. He was send into limbo and there he had to choose: die to never come back or continue living and fight. Dumbledore and others keep saying that death is forever and you can't revive the dead. That's not what happened to Harry.

Yeah cause he's split his soul in seven pieces and six of the pieces are trapped in objects that Voldemort's hidden (they're called Horcruxes) and Harry Ron & Hermoine drop out of school in the seventh book to go hunt for these Horcruxes and destroy them. Voldemort himself is the last Horcrux so he can't die til the other horcruxes are destroyed.
