Superb chanting. This is to do with taking down of Jesus from the cross. It is a prelude to good Fiday three parts lamentation. It about Joseph and Nikodemos preparing the body for burial. It hits you in the heart. We chant this piece on Thursday.God bless the SEM with such a Orthodox chanting.

@Iloveromania4ever I was just curious why you called Catholics Masonic. I'm planning on converting to Orthodoxy from Catholicism, and I know when I was a Catholic, the church absolutely hated Freemasonry. If a Catholic was to join the Masons, he would be automatically excommunicated. Great chant by the way! There is so much beauty in Orthodoxy.

@magnus56j My friend, for example, in Romania where I live. through the history the pope and the catholic church DESTROYED AND KILLED orthodox churches and romanians more than the muslims did (ottomans) who had their plan to make Romania and the hole Balcan peninsula muslim! And my question is why?? why did the catholic church this!? Even the western (catholic) christians where orthodox like us for 1000 years ago!

Orthodoxy is the real truth....rest Christian religions including Roman Catholics are cults and far away from the truth! Only Orthodox ppl will be saved!
