first time i've seen this video.

i went to college 95 so no cable but i did see them live in hawaii so for me them coming out here meant a lot.

i didnt need to see the videos. also didn't want to see a brit poppy video.

in fact i bought all the import singles because they had these wonderful very brit-pop b-sides and burned them on a CD-R as their "next album".

4AD did the same it's called Topolino.

That's funny, I did the same thing only called it Topolino Two. Some of those B-sides are some of the best stuff they put out. I actually like the acoustic version of Olympia better than the album in some ways. And each of the songs you mention are great. I Have The Moon is beautiful and Walk Around Your Mind make me chock back tears. Plume and Oranges, Pudding, Dear Me, Outside World and Kiss Chase are awesome on those B-sides. Carmen is another personal favorite. Just a lovely band.

its my favorite from "Lovelife" but that's because the song was out before "Lovelife" and sounds better.

the "shoegazer" stuff got me hooked, "Split/Lovelife" showed their diversity, but the "Topolino" songs seems they had more fun and were unrestricted. i would have liked to hear more.

Yeah, I have All Virgos Are Mad and I do like The Childcatcher better than the version on Lovelife. It's way harder and I like the drumming. Topolino is actually a favorite of mine and I totally agree with you. I have the Single Girl 45 and there is a song on their called Sweetie as a B-side that is really cool. Some of the outtakes from Lovelife are really nice. But, Split is my favorite album.

this seems to be influenced by their hypocrite video. the color sceme orits like this previous video influences the next one. i thought on "desire lines" video they were slowly falling off a tall brick building or desending over and over again,up then back around to the top.

They could have died off like Ride leaving essentially the same sound they had all along where as post-94 Lush always showed a dimension that prevented them from being just a "shoegaze" band. Emma's guitar leads were so cool on this album I just love it.

When you listen to Emma's playing you realize what an amazing guitar player she is. Even in the beginning with Gala. This band has definately influenced my playing for sure. I just love their sound and wish they were still around.
