Marine Girlfriend Advice - What you shouldn't do.

this video from the BEGINNING definitely helped me out! I am the one who tries to stay by the phone missing my marine! we've been together on & off for about 5 years with about 2 of the years spent in the marines and I never realized how difficult it is! He's stationed in Hawaii and I'm in Virginia so the time zone is the hardest part to cope with. This really did wake me up though that I need to live my life also. THANK YOU :)

I use to hate when my man was in Cali so I can only imagine how tough it is to have yours in Hawaii. lol Just remember to be young and enjoy your youth because if you go out with friends and have fun that doesn't mean you love him any less. :D :D :D :D

My boyfriend just left for boot camp for the marines and I already miss him like crazy. We're both really young, but very much in love and I worry so much about him and I dont know what to do. And to complicate the situation even more I am now out of the country and will remain out of the country for about a year

@countrygal276 Don't worry he will be out of boot camp before you know it! Especially since you'll be out of the country...Where will you be going? I'm sure everything will be just fine...I'm sure if you both truly love each other that you'll be able to make it through anything!!! =]

@madlyinlovechick Im in russia due to some legal issues but I worry that his letters may not make its way over here in time and also I am extermely worried that he's not getting enough sleep, food, etc. and Ive seen youtube videos on how they break these guys down and just thinking about him going through that breaks my heart

@countrygal276 Wow Russia! Well I'm not sure how long it will take for you to get a letter from him...but as for you try to send one everyday that way one is for sure bond to show up you know. Try to find out from one of his family and friend through maybe Facebook what his address is going to be when they get a letter. I'm sure they'll probably be getting one before you since they'll be in the U.S.

@countrygal276 Don't worry girl everything is going to be okay! It's going to be tuff but everything he's going through is only to make him stronger..it's more mentally challenging then physically and I'm sure he'll be okay! =]

@countrygal276 Probably be more serious about things when he has to be you know. But for the most part he should still be the same person you know and love. My man is more serious about certain things now but for the most part he still the same silly goofy person I fell in love with before he left to the Marines. lol =]

This helps a lot, thank you. My boyfriend is leaving for the navy next week and I am just a wreck. I've never had to deal with anyone joining the military so this is a really big struggle for me already. But thanks so much for the advice, it lets me have a little peace of mind and not be so down about it :)

@littlefootpimpin Aw don't worry it's going to fly by fast!! You have to remember to stay strong, show him that you can be strong while he's gone you know. @1marbolz Exactly there's nothing wrong with still taking time for yourself..in fact I'd encourage it because it really helps to clear ur mind stop focusing on w.e going on. Plus it makes time go by fast..n I always want time to go by fast that way it's another day closer to being together with my Marine lol But I mean unless ur in a military relationship then people really don't understand what were talking about...

Your glasses look just like the ones I just ordered!! They look good on you so I am super excited to get mine! Great advice because girls or women miss out a lot on their own lives when they stay home waiting all the time. I made that mistake.

@SofiaAlejandra9 I actually had these glasses before an then lost it at Wal-Mart... =[ But now I'm super happy to have them and to see clearly again...I told my mom it's like seeing in HD lol N yes, I did that as well and finally realized that I shouldn't be doing that...
