  • @Imdiamondgirl Classic Woody! =P.

  • old school woody was the biggest troll ever

  • ow i wish this comes on tv but people no a days are to pussy to put this on TV im 14 and i finally realized at the time these came out they were meant for adults but today that's not an excuse by the amount of violence on tv if you think this is bad watch south park or any shows like that

  • @triedge763 Yeah I know! Ugh!

  • 1:10 holy fuck !

  • Grande el pájaro loco,,,buenos recuerdos!!

  • dont you miss the good old days when you could go to a barber shop and get a "shave" ?

  • GREATEST CARTOON OF ALL TIME

  • I shave me to this song !

  • When I was small I tried to re-act everything I watched in the cartoon out in real life. Luckily all I watched was Tom & Jerry and not this...

  • XDDDD

  • holy shit this is horrifying.

  • Coming mother at 1:55 is funny and 0:33 with the shaving cream bit is funny too but, that part at 1:12 scares me

  • I'd probably rip off half of my face if tried that at 1:11, LOL.

  • @hindd95 that bird is scary at 1:59

  • Lol o.o

  • This song was in Mrs. Doubtfire

  • whoa somebody woke up happy in the morning

    Barbara Todres/NYC

  • My first source of Woody Woodpecker was Universal Studios. When I first came upon this vid, it was the first time isaw one of th old ones.

  • what is the name of the song

  • want nightmares? press 4

  • Comment removed

  • I have to say that was downright terrifying. Especially 1:08. Bugs Bunny version may have been a remake of this, but I still think Bugs wins.

  • As much as I love Woody Woodpecker, I sill think Buggs Bunny did this scene better~

  • 1:40 "I LEFT MY WEINER!"

  • 1:08 Good luck sleeping everyone.

  • I used to drive my parents crazy singing along :D

  • LOL i havnt seen this 1 since i was a kid LOL pure classic right there

  • 2:13 dick stabbed!

  • 41 people got haircuted my woodywood pecker

  • Gotta love the classics fuck da new shows bring back da classics

  • It was all fun and games until 1:08 =D

  • @INTanegral Tiny Tim could never have hit those notes! Awesome high-pitched rendition!!

  • They do not make cartoons like this anymore. Someone getting chased by a crazy, razor blade wielding bird just does not exist nowadays! LOL

  • dont fuck with woody

  • Classic!

  • lmao ! This was awesome !!

  • greatly sped up but whoevers singing it is excellent. a perfect baritone :)

  • Esta era la mejor epoca de Woody...luego cuando cambio el diseño del personaje ya no me gusto mas.

  • why did he complain? he got a very nice shave by a laughing woodpecker

  • New cartoons suck.

  • @TheGarbageQuiltGirl mostly because no cartoons sing opera anymore

  • Fantástico!

  • was f+ürn scheoiss

  • that was... beautiful!

  • Woody maybe the barber from hell but at least he isn't a dentist

  • Sweeney Todd would be scared shitless by this barber.

  • @UniversalVision You took the words out of my mouth. Sweeny Todd be damned!!

  • that pose at 1:03 is just fantastic

  • @mariomguy my mom did animation for that movie, she has boxes of old drawings from it. Quality stuff

  • hahha ma quanto è violento sto cartone

  • 0.0 lololololololol!!!

  • WOW! Never saw this one before! WAAAAAAAY edgier, too......kind of violent! LOL Thanks for posting....it's awesome!

  • Bugs did it better.

  • @Codguy77 Bugs had grown out of his screwball phase by that point, so that's understandable.

Personally, I'm familiar with three cartoons involving Barber of Seville: this one, the one Bugs did, and a Tom & Jerry cartoon that strictly had singing (no barber antics, more like a 'loud neighbor upstairs' theme). (I keep thinking Droopy was involved in another one in a similar vein to Tom & Jerry's attempt, but can't remember.) I find Bugs' take most entertaining but this one more fitting.

  • 1:08 - 1:11 0_o

  • Is that Tiny Tim singing?

  • @INTanegral is not

is an unknown singer dubbed the woody

    when he sings

  • 34 people got thrown into their own barber

  • owch 2:15 must have hurt!

    low blow woody ...

  • This cartoon is awesome woody was my idol when 5 r 6

  • He shaved him pretty good actually

  • i always loved this episode, but I never got why woody desperatly wanted to kill that guy...

  • there's no way something like this would make it in the cartoon channels today, and that's why kids are the way they are today

  • @sirhonestharry -

you ever wonder if parents are the way they are because of all this stuff they watched. I mean, we are a violent, selfish nation, unwilling to do anything necessary to address our problems.

  • GENIUS!!! =D

  • This cartoon introduced me to opera. I treasure it dearly.

  • FUNNEST CARTOON EVER

  • I love the way that so many cartoons had great music. This was where a lot of us were introduced to fantastic music.

  • i love it :)

  • Rossini would have loved this! He had a good sense of humor.

  • Coming mother...

  • Back in the days, you didn't need to tell kids, don't go with a knife on another person's neck.....we weren't that stupid :)

  • This cartoon was making fun of Italians. HOW DARE THEY! The only redeeming quality is the violence... Love the way the barber through woody through the plate glass window.

  • @DuhEnlightenedOne "Through"? as opposed to threw? I don't see this cartoon making fun of Italians at all.

You sound like a fucking retard.

  • Ah, such greatness in animation.

  • 1:09 woodys evil look

  • haha lol, loved it XD

  • Thumbs up if you want to see Woody and Bugs do a Barber of Seville duet!

So funny two iconic characters both parodied the same opera...seriously, I think the screen would catch on fire and explode from the sheer zany-amazing-awesomeness that would ensue if Woody and Bugs were to meet and to a duet of this opera!

  • 1:55 FIIIGAARROOOO!!!

  • this same song was used in a tom and jerry cartoon and they even used the same audio for when jerry was singing.

  • lol good stuff

  • Walter Lance cant compete with Charles Jones, Bugs Bunny would silly slap Woddy and all his cronies one handed. And still have enough time to eat a carrot.

  • woody was awesome. bring back cartoons that were entertaining instead of all this crap that is on now. cartoon network was better when it just showed good old funny cartoons all day. their tom & jerry hour is the only thing worth watching.

  • An all time classic..our children should be watching this instead of the mess they have now.

  • the song is largo al factotum, but I feel like the scene is sweeney todd...

  • Never could go wrong with Woody Woodpecker!

  • lol! That Woody what a character. 

  • ROFLMFAO

  • Provo !!!!

  • Hard to imagine that we were learning Opera Tunes as well back then. That's why the cartoons back then are so classic!

  • Haha my gosh. He goes totally bazurk in this one.

  • LMAO

  • I love his little psychoticass.

  • i SWEAR that bug bird's on some type of drug.

    most likely speed or crack.

or maby a tumour or some type oof retardedness.

    still, he's hilarious.

  • Oh, so awesome ! I didn't watch this for years ! I lost the video tape when I was a kid !!!!!!!

  • woody owns all

  • My brother was tortured and murdered to stop him publishing in the internet. As a result of the BND torturing my brother our hompage had been offline between 2005 and the end of 2009. Censuring the internet through torture and murder is of concern to everyone using the internet or running a homepage.

German snitchers are following me on youtube and trying to suppress me making public the atrocities of their State through flagging.

Thumbs up if you want the BND stop torturing and murdering.

  • This I will count a very welcome rediscovery. I know this is only part to the masterwork, but it deserves respect in its entirety. I am not exaggerating in the least when I say Woody Woodpecker is virtually unknown by all children of today except as his crude re-imaging as a tattoo or some other unremarkable crap. I'm going to make all my nerds and anti-nerd(nerds) watch these under threat of violence if necessary(there will be).

  • Woody was awesome! He would fuck you up a hundred ways and laugh like a maniac as he did so. Bugs did it cool but Woody was unstable which was funnier in my opinion

  • You can never go wrong with a cartoon singing Opera!

  • @lydmantheincredible

I second that emotion....whether it's Woody, Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Tom & Jerry or whomever! Who knew we'd get such much cool classic music from cartoons! Strictly from wowsville, daddy-o!!! :-)

  • He captured the "essence of a barber" XD haha Woody is great and he ruled and he still rules! Look the poor man how is trying to scape of this barber..his eyes full of anger and look the disaster he did with the beard of the poor guy.haha I love both versions Bug´s version its Awesome, but Woody give more EMPHASIS to the barber in himself..Where are those genius that gave us such masterpieces in animation?????

  • Back in the days of real talent. And actual animation. Ah, the good old days.

  • Awesome cartoon, but Woody is a crack head that's completely out of his mind!

  • hehehe

  • Woody Woodpecker is crazy, no he's fucking crazy, No, He is ******** crazy, oh yea, a word so fucked up it can't be uncensored or be describe of the wildness of Woody. He needs to be in his own horror film!!!

  • wat did that guy do to make woody so pissed O.O

  • @freakyfish02 I think he called him a dope

  • ihihihi bellissimo

  • This is epic. I'd hate to have Woody Woodpecker as MY hairdresser! Look what he did to the poor man's beard!

  • I still like Prince Poppycocks version the best, from America's Got Talent. But this is a close second!! LOVE IT!!!!

  • Ten ptak jest niezrównoważony psychicznie xdd

Ale tak go lubię ; >

  • This is THE woody Woodpecker I like the most. The next edition of him wasn't near as funny.I am guessing there was a change in the art dept.etc...

  • This is definitively epic.

  • @Maximov It sure is...I still like Bugs as the Barber of Seville better, but BOTH of those cartoons are just classic, so much better than today!

But youn know what would've made their cartoons even BETTER?

    A DUET!

I demand a Bugs Bunny/Woody Woodpecker operatic duet! How about They do "Carmen" together! Woody can be Don Jose, and Bugs can do one of his cross-dressing routines and sing Carmen's part!

I know that might sound random, but I now REALLY want to see that...anyone else?!

  • I used watch this when I was a kid. This is great!!!!!!

  • Funny, but Bugs Bunny did it better.

  • that was BRILLIANT!!!! laughed my head off

  • i love him jajaja a

  • haaaha haaaha hhahahahaha

  • This is when cartoons really used to be educational. Not crap like Sponge Bob & Barney.

We actually were exposed to opera by watching these cartoons. Thanks for posting.

  • never seen Woody Woodpecker before, after dying laughing through this whole thing I will definitely see more. XD

  • Epic... thats all I can say about this scene. This scene is truly one word... EPIC!!

  • ...he is trying to kill him?awesum

  • like bug bunny version better

  • Never thought I'd see a barber that made Sweeny Todd look like a good deal!

  • before cgi and flash animation, there was talent.

  • @aquelescaraaaaaaaaaa can I quote you on that :D

    p.s. lol, awesome.

  • @CrazyMushroomPeople of course let people know.

  • @aquelescaraaaaaaaaaa True to some degree. It requires a great deal of patients and talent. However, CGI and flash are both very difficult forms of animation and is often not treated with proper respect simply because it's more popular today.

  • @aquelescaraaaaaaaaaa CGI isn't as easy as it looks, just because it's overused doesn't mean that it doesn't take talent.

  • @Thisismytrollingface But CGI is significantly less time consuming. It sure beats pencil sketching, inking, and painting 15 frames a second. Considering how this was all timed precisely to music with very compact stories through gag after gag, it's mind-boggling how much pure painstaking effort went into making things like this. I love Pixar, but nobody can beat the classics.

  • @mariomguy fine, enjoy living in the past, dismissing anything that's not hand drawn. I'll be in the future if you need me.

  • @Thisismytrollingface As I said, I love Pixar, but nobody can beat the classics. The future of animation doesn't just have to be CGI: John Lasseter himself is trying to bring back 2D. If you want to see just what 2D is capable of, look at the last 10 minutes of Richard William's The Thief and The Cobbler.

  • @aquelescaraaaaaaaaaa You are right...no talent at pixar. Nope not at all

  • the older cartoons like this one are ones i really enjoy!

  • Old Cartoons Are better Than The sucky cartoons now :S Looney Toons Woody Woodpecker................I Love Boomerang Because They Show You The Old Cartoons :D

  • He sounds like a tiny Mexican singing Italian Opera.

    I like it :D

  • I perfer looney toons but this is cute :3

  • much funny!!!!

  • Thi is an OUTRAGE!

How DARE Woody Woodpecker steal Bugs Bunny's bit?

I demand a battle of the barbers, Woody vs. Bugs!

There can be only ONE! ;)

  • EPIC

  • I wonder if the guy that did the voice had to learn to sing in Italian (the words) or IS he Italian or did they use someone else for this particular episode to sing the song..

  • orgoglio italiano i suoi immortali compositori e opere!

  • Just add some Sweeney Todd music and it would be the best thing........eeeeeevvvvvveeeeeerrrrrr!!!!!

  • i luv all da episodes itz funny lmao <3

  • I loved!

  • this is like the buggs cartoon.
