Personally, I'm familiar with three cartoons involving Barber of Seville: this one, the one Bugs did, and a Tom & Jerry cartoon that strictly had singing (no barber antics, more like a 'loud neighbor upstairs' theme). (I keep thinking Droopy was involved in another one in a similar vein to Tom & Jerry's attempt, but can't remember.) I find Bugs' take most entertaining but this one more fitting.

Considering how this was all timed precisely to music with very compact stories through gag after gag, it's mind-boggling how much pure painstaking effort went into making things like this.
