Thanks man..happy new year... i noticed something...on my computer, the short cut command you use on your tutorials do not work on my computer . am happy you provided both options. The short cut commands and interface navigation for the same task... i use the interface navigation however if you have any clue why it doesnt work please do suggest. thanks.

Tool Shelf was removed since around 2.5.1 there has been many upgrades since and the blender people are slowly adding old features that people want with the new setup don't know how long until they get most of the previous features that people are wanting.

Also addons are different those are mostly user made addons so its up to those people to make their old addons work with the new client.

Don't forget that this video was made around the same time they first released the alpha version of 2.5

@d4v1dy actually i just figured out, the toolbar isn't available until version 2.5 so you might be using an earlier version like i was.

@casanova1135 In Beta it's middle mouse button. The latest version is 2.53 beta, you should get that.

Thanks a lot for redoing these tutorials in 2.5. Great for guys like me new to Blender who just got a grip on 2.49, and now gotta start from scratch again xD

I have 2.5 on my system, but just find it difficult to make the transition.. I know it's in Alpha and all, but pressing S key doesn't go into scale mode. Pressing the Scale button in the toolbar doesn't go into Scale mode. Pressing S and then X to Scale along X basically ends up bringing up a dialog asking what I want to delete...

Great tutorials here and will certainly come in helpful when it's more "complete", but for now, I'm gonna stick with 2.49.

One important bit of feedback: in your video titles, be sure to note 2.5, so as to differentiate your "fourth (2.5) video" from the fourth 2.4-or-earlier video. I'm new to 2.5 and any references to 2.4 are confusing in the extreme!

Otherwise, really great in helping demystify this VERY complicated program! Kudos!
