Whoa man let me get in on this Love fest. I FUCKING LOVE YOU GUYS. Ellaskins i stumbled across researching Scratch tutorial on youtube. Man You do have a real talent with the wheels of steel Hats off. And Briansredd you have an amazing talent in playing a crowd Jesus I took out a pen a paper and wrote down some of your Group activities that you do at weddings and I probably downloaded roughly 500 songs just listening to your music playing in your mobile gigs. I hope to contribute 1 day God bless
hey guys, brians story was great :D good fun. And Jonathans metaphore of this dj culture spreading out like ripples was very nice. Good job, you got my respect from the beggining.
hey brian i am a mobile dj in australia and i am just writing to say that you have helped me so much mate and you and jonathon do a great job i had a question 4 u,i am considering buying mixmeister for my gigs with mixmeister 6 can you mix your trcks live and could you please shed some light on the program and what u reccomend getting,as i said only a mobile dj
Much thanks from someone who has just been watching Practise and Njoy online.
You guys may want to do a tutor video on the importance of color coding gear. I've learnt after all my gigs are volunteer staffed that having all cabling and unusual gear color coded Red:power, green:computer, blue:audio, yellow:DMX lighting. But ALSO having color coded totes. Volunteers now place all cables in exactly the right totes. Just a suggestion.
I am so happy to see things turned out well, and plan to attend your future events!! This is just so flocking brilliant, its about time we all networked instead of one-upping all the time. You two rock out loud! I will definitely stay tuned.
I have so much respect for you guys. I started thinking aobut djing last summer and suddenly I thought 'where am I going to learn the technique of being a really good dj' and you have answered all my questions and more and i dont think a paid tutor would do anything more than you guys have. Amazing advice and I hope you go on to make hundreds more videos. Keep it up.
well I say Kudos, but hopefuly you guys remain the way you are and who you are for the Djs. Even when You are CEO's for your small Corp. Staying close to your beggings and having the sucss is what makes you even greater. Thanks D:) Practice & N-Joy
As a wedding DJ that got to play at being a superstar, even for one night, thanks guys. I was glad to be able to help, and to meet some incredible individuals. Omega, 2 Turntables, Chris 2978, DJPWN, DJElusive, DJIsfan, Wavey Davey (and the lovely Marsha!), Tim from SpinCityDJ, Dave from Sound Dynamix, RRollergod (are you sure you're only 14?!). And of course the 2 guys (not including J!) who came the furthest - Dave from Paris, IL and my new favorite African DJ, Nattyrankz all the way from KC.
Great video of you guys giving your own thoughts of the days this far it was great to hear your side and thoughts. Get some much needed sleep and go fight at crate diggings or something else ;) You really looked worn out there.
Hey, you guys have the utmost respect from me; there's no denying that you guys are doing a lot for DJ's, both beginners and experienced. You're also very right about the feeling of loneliness as DJ's; that's why i joined that DJAWP thing i mentioned to J, for the feeling of having someone there to talk to or get advice from.
Practice and N'Joy guys; that's what this event is all about
You two have helped so many people and I again want to say Thank You Brian and Jonathan for all the help for everyone. I know I really enjoy everything.
Having been there, I can really appreciate the amount of planning involved. Everyone got along great. It wasn't about showing off your own skills, but had more of the "jam session" feel. I'm hoping this event will spark mini Practice & N-Joy events. Thanks guys for starting the ripple/snowball effect.
GREAT VID. i feel all of that. 5 stars. even though im not there, i would like to say that i really do appreciate every thing you guys are doing, every video you guys make helps me in some way or another!
all the way from Taiwan- Thank you soo much for evertyhing
