I guess it would mean instantaneous happiness though on a moment to moment basis.

Also that presupposes that what we want most in life is happiness, and not some religious goal, or biological procreation goal, or anything else like that...

But one of his initial premises was that (not an exact quote) happiness is the outcome we are all searching for... if an outcome is outside of our control, by his own very statement, his process doesn't necessitate that "investing in the action" can lead to happiness either, right? It might be a good guide, but does it mean that you are going to get happiness just from that?
