I do have a question. Im new to this lol when you cut the fabric and I see you have two pieces. Do you divide the waist by 2 for the pieces? Im just confused there. so sorry. Hope you can help or someone lol
How do the pants stay up? Is there elastic in the waist? Thanks so much. I am a novice sewer trying to prepare for our first baby and I really appreciate you posting this video.
Love your videos, Savvy. Too bad bloggers like Cheryl of blog(dot)taylormadeoriginals(dot)com try to claim your stuff as their own. At least after being called out, she changed her disclosure statement from "This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me." to simply, "This blog is a personal blog." and she now denies ever claiming this was hers. Guess she doesn't know what Google Cache is. Anyway Savvy, YOUR projects are awesome and YOUR kids are adorable!
MWAH MWAH MWAH!!! Finally someone showed me how to make the pants in a simple way that I can follow. I felt (and probably still am) totally and utterly devoid of sewing skill - not any more!! I'm new to youtube but so agree with the post below - do more videos...pppllllleeeeeeaaaasssseeee :-) xx
I love this video it explains very easily. I am expecting my fourth and always wanted to sew baby clothes but didn't feel confident enough. But now, I am going to make baby and toddler pants using your video. Thanks so much.
She is a wonderful model, lovely baby, like my granddaugther 1

@mommynicholson Yes you would divide the waist measurement in half, Visit my new You Tube Channel SavvyPracticality for more tutorials.
