stop talking SHIT man, don't come on here and give us your SHIT. This song is a classic and what the fuck would you know about anything? How many top 10 singles have you had. You dimb fuck.
man im fuckin 15 and the english beat is my favorite ska band. and then its next to fleetwood max, although some people including me dont really categorize that as ska but whatever. this shit is still fuckin insanely awesome.
what a tune. Try listening to this tune turned up, the wicked baseline and rythem still sound amazing today. i was i little 11 year old boy when this tune first droped.
Dance Craze the LP got some hammer in my house. big-up the Beat.
hehe...it's funny looking at all of the comments b/c everyone has been listening to these guys for so long and r atleast 30 (atleast most people) and when I reflect to myself I realize I'm less than 15. This song is great, always my favorite from english beat...twist and crawl is also a great hit! ^___^
omg, mirror in the bathroom. i recorded this song off of my old college radio station back when it came out ... never knew the name of it. i always thought they were saying "meet her in the back room". love this song. what a blast from the past!
Brilliant - one of my earliest experiences of music from way back in the mid Jurassic. But why is it attributed to 'The English Beat' rather than the actual name of the band, which was simply 'The Beat'? It's like calling The Beatles 'The Liverpool Beatles,' isn't it?
The band had to change their name to the English Beat in the U.S. to avoid confusion with Paul Collins' band of the same name. So possibly this was posted by an American?
Thanks for that, Ashlander. I suppose it doesn't really matter either way, The Beat or The English Beat, so please forgive my slightly pedantic nature in these things ... still a great track, even after all these years. God, I feel old.
Uwaaah i love this song and the beat to!! This is great, thanks for uploading and i don't mind it without pictures it's still good and pics could detract from the song...
If anyone has had the misfortune of seeing what the English Beat has turned into (as I have! Shit it's like a cover band on a Carnival Cruise!) then having a clip with no vid helps maintain some respect for what WAS a GREAT band! LEGENDARY.
didn't they do twist n' crawl too?

I think English Beat is a pretty cool guy he takes a look at yourself while you are eating and doesn't afraid of anything.

Great outside concert in Michigan!
The first entire 15 front rows or so people were doing that early 80's Ska-dance and starting to mosh, lol.
