Halo PC/CE is absolutely still one of the most competitive Halo games. Im still one of the few 2000 players that still play that game, and there are still organized tournaments (that i attend) held in both games. Halo PC/CE >>>>>>>> Every other Halo game.

They give an option whether to chose between the old graphics and the new graphics, so you can't say they will make it "REALLY GAY" when they are most likely going to give you an option to use the old one as well as the new one.

Halo 2's single player was far weaker than the first game's. From the stupid arbiter levels to the awful cliffhanger ending. Though the multi-player was excellent, far fewer people had access to xbox live at the time, so to me there wasn't much difference there from the first game. Just absolute boredom once the campaign was complete. But, I think it's lame that they tacked the Halo Reach multiplayer onto Halo CE.

@greencarlsberg Beacuse Halo: Combat Evolved was the first/origonal shooter that opened the doorway to console shooters. It was ahead of it's time and got better scores than Halo 2, Halo 3 and beyond. It was a masterpiece, people still play multiplayer on PC. No one plays Halo 2 multiplayer anymore. So that about sums up your asnwer. I hope to god you played Halo: Combat Evolved.

@cmdtrigun I don't know about that. Countdown is better than most official H2 remakes. Asylum is the only good one, and even that isn't as good as the MLG-remake of Sanctuary. I loved Ivory Tower in H2 but can hardly stand Reflection in Reach. Ascension was a lot more fun in H2 than Pinnacle in Reach, though maybe that's just me changing over the years.
