This song used to scare me as a kid. I don't know why. I think it had to do with the screaming noise in the background.

Played most of the level with the sound on the T.V. muted.

The second that door opened and you walked on the ceiling, so saw a shit ton of enemies waiting for you to drop down. The hardest section of the game imo.

I love this song lots <3 I love how the star Alpha H or Alpha Heterus (I came up with the name of the star that Oltanis and its neighboring planets orbit around in. Alpha Heterus sounds good actually, I dunt know why.) radiates on the place, giving it the atmosphere of the place. I love Oltanis and it's base too, I get some parts from the base since it's actually still there yet.

has a very passive/ambient "SOUND THE ALARMS; THIS SHIT JUST GOT REAL" feel. The horns things and synth-vocal-esque things give a very "Take it slow" pace while the beat (where its exists) give a "Lets get things done" feel, creating a strange sense of precision and smoothness (suave). the industrial/techno/whatever-the­-hell-they-are elements add the seriousness and baddassity to the piece.

This is one of my favorites from Ratchet and Clank. I just love it so much :D Highly Addictive and just warping. Ratchet and Clank and Banjo-Tooie are just so close in soundtrack greatness ^^ it's like R&C is the next Banjo. even though they are companies apart. I must get the other 7 R&Cs xO

This was probably my favourite level in the first game. As the for the other games.

Snivelak was my favourite in 2, mainly the last fight against the Thugs 4 Less leader.

And just like you, Koros was probably my favourite in 3. I also enjoyed Aquatos and Thyrranosis too.

And in Deadlocked, Stygia and the Ghost Station.

@Darkstar263 Yeah, though tbh just about every level in the R&C series has its perks. My faves by game:

R&C1: Gemlik Base, for an epic music rack and a challenging level

GC: Boldan, but Snivelak is a close second. Love killing all those thugs XD

UYA: Koros. Love the atmosphere, as well as the massive amounts of EXP.

DL: Probably Kronos. Dunno why, but I really like the Dark City levels for some reason.

Ah yes, Kronos. That was a decent planet too. Loved the Shellshock fight even though he was rather easy to beat.

GC: I can't remember much of the game, will need to buy it again.

UYA: Planet Aridia for the battles.

DL: The Ghost station for the awesome track of the first task in the campaign.

@yin1 in my opinion, ratchet is taking Crash's place as Sony's mascot, which is both sad and great at the same time, because I love both series' :D

Ratchet and Clank 1 is the best.

Although you have to BUY weapon and nanotech upgrades, it's as fun as the rest of the trilogy. It has the spirit of adventure that no other R&C game has, Drek is the most challenging boss (but not boring like the one in Snivelak) and you can't have a HUGE bolt count that has no use. Every single bolt here is needed.

And the soundtracks. EPIC. Of course R&C 2 also has awesome ones, but its gameplay isn't as good as its vgm.

Summarizing, R&C 1 FTW!!!!

This really was one of the defining moments of the series. This music perfectly suited the atmosphere. I haven't played anything after Deadlocked but I hope they kept the amazing space hero atmosphere of the first game, not just run and gun like it was gravitating to.

This is my favorite tune in the first game, and one of my... like, top ten in the entire series. All of the music in the first game was good, and the storyline was long and involved, but when I saw that sun in the background and was otherwise surrounded by floating rocks and the blackness of space, and not just on another planet, I knew, "THIS moment is where the series gets REALLY epic!"
