  • @jowrab My only guesses would be either they didnt want to do it or didnt think the consoles could handle it.

  • I hate when people most of the time choose Ryu/Ken/Akuma, when reviewing a SF game. Especially SFIII, which has a lot more interesting characters.

  • Me and my brother always tease his friend for looking like Remmy. Because he is very tall and skinny, and kind of emo looking too, but with short black hair rather than long blue hair. He's also one of those very few people(that i know of) who thinks Remmy is way better than Guile. :D WTF!!? lol

  • lmao u sure showed that SUV who's boss !

  • They use way to much gas anyway so someone had to beat it up.

  • @gamemaster14neo

    too not to

    ugh the education system fails

  • SF2 was good enough. They keep on trying to do things to something that was probably perfect. I still play SF2 over and over again. I can't stand many of the subsequent fighting games after SF2, except for Samurai Showdown 1, VF1, VF5, and maybe SF4 (I haven't played it).

  • I still love SF2 the original. Just SF2, VF1, VF5, and SF4 seem good to me.

  • remy rocks i kick butt with him oro and necro online

  • dude remy was a french goth raver. so his hair style was acceptable by the subculture.

  • dude wtf is up with the games sound? ken's voice is way too low!

  • @Kira253 maybe emulation difficulties

    or system requirment issues

  • @Kira253 Back when I made this video I was running my old computer, and using the capture software and mame caused slowdown.

  • hey when i try to audit this game it dont work

  • The most common reason a chd set audits bad is the proper chd image file is missing. The chd is an image of the original cd that spun in the sf3 arcade cab to flash the roms on the board. Without that image the game wont run unless you get one of the nocd versions of the game. Sadly none of the no cd versions of the game are in english but then again reading really isnt needed much in fighting games.

  • - Yes

    - That is my only disappointment

    - All of the pervious SF's are not all there in Third Strike

    - Why did they do that? Why wouldn't they just keep everyone in new upcoming SF games ?

  • it was called evolution, which is why i like this one the best. i'm pretty sure not all sf2 characters will keep fighting.

besides, makoto is better than most sf2 characters.

  • @RageOfLeoEX

i guess but i think ken is the best chara

  • I wonder to myself if a 300+ MB download for a rom requires an HD image as I download this game rom now. the only place that had a large collection of CHD's was emuchina but recently i think their server was cleaned and there are no posts or links. If it requires a chd, im out of luck.

  • There are a few of whats called the no-cd versions which only require the roms. They are called sfiii3n and sfiii3an. Both are in japanese but atleast you dont have to wait 10-20 minutes for the rom flashing every time. The chd images for sfiii3 and sfiii3a are only 64mb and 77mb anyway. Some of the other games are larger but the cps3 games aret too big.

  • do a mame review on marvel super heroes versus street fighter

  • Arts Of Fighting, Eternal Champion, Fatal Fury, Guity Gear, King Of Fighters, Samurai Showdown, & World Heroes. Some of the best 2D Fighting games & or series ever.

  • Oh I got to add in the Street Fighter Alpha series as well.

  • darkstalkers

  • knew I forgot one. Yes Darkstalkers as well :)

  • 2:02 "HaDOOken" lol. It just sounded wierd. Good review again but you don't pick your 'special moves', you pick your 'super move/super art'.

I actually liked seeing a whole set of new characters rather then have the same characters from Super Turbo in here. It just wouldn't feel new with the same characters. I'm glad they got a new roster.

  • remy is weird xD

    nice tag

  • hey could you review new generation for mame?

  • sure thing, It will be the next mame review after the one I am currently working on.

  • lol did you just say "pwn"

figured you were a nub when you ragged on oro. Hes actually highly ranked teir wise. But never mind that you wouldn't be understanding any of that.

  • This was never one of my favorite 2d fighting games.

  • Mid tier isn't highly ranked. Ken, however, is high tier.

  • I honestly have no clue what that means, I never really got too "hardcore" into the game.

  • That doesn't matter. I just find it slightly annoying when people give other people shit for their lack of knowledge about a game, and then clearly display their ignorance in return.

Personally 3rd Strike is my favorite 2D fighter, right up there with GGXX and MvC2. Good stuff. Very interesting.

  • Well thats good for you but that doesnt change the fact that I could care less about what tier a certain character is since I simply do not like or play the game nearly as much as others.

  • That never had anything to do with what I was replying to. You weren't the subject of my comment.

  • LOL omg you have said so many funny things, some of the strikes flash green? seriously. you mean ex moves (P+P or L+L) thats the only thing i wanted to point out as there are far more.

  • I grew up on SF2. I liked it and the classic Japanese stereotyping of characters in fighting games. Zero came out, with a new, and IHMO better, cast of characters. They were, well, "normal" when compared to the old timers, and when combined with them, they formed what a perfect cast. SF on N64 come out, nobody cared. But then SF3 came out. And I. LOVED. IT. Everything, and especially the cast - the best characters in the SF series. And now you're telling me that they wont be in SF4 ? Well F***.

  • Street Fighter came out for the n64? When did that happen?

  • Ah, pardon me. I was after a lengthy discuss about N64 ports (especially the "2D to 3D" MK4) and recalled some of it while writing the comment. Somehow I mixed those up in my head. What I meant was "SF EX came out - nobody cared.".

  • I personally love the Street Fighter EX series and the only thing I disliked about it is that none of the games had Cammy who is my favorite street fighter character. Atleast she was in 3d once in the Dreamcast/Sega Naomi Arcade Game Cannon Spike/Gun Spike.

  • Personally, I think 2D game should stay 2D, and 3D in 3D. That is all.

  • that remy character sucks ass.

  • ya i hate that guy too

  • The only bad thing about this game is that some of the characters are pretty weird. Some of them really should have been in a Darkstalkers game.

  • is cps3 goin 2 psp

  • psp simply isnt powerful enough to emulate cps3, the only way you will see games from cps3 is if capcom ports them theirselves.

  • & just like tht my hopes are crushed

  • You didn't even talk about the parry feature. That feature alone is what made this game totally unique from the Street Fighter II series and also most of the new characters are clones of old one i.e. Necro is part Dhalsim and part Blanka. It was a good review though.

  • Honestly I never really got that much into this game and personally I would rather have the original characters over clones.

  • clones? i kind of liked the new cast. it's nice to have a fresh start, you know? alex and, makoto, oro, and urien in particular are pretty different from any sf2 character.

  • The characters in the game may look different but they play very simular to certain sf2 characters.

  • i hear you, man. i mean, hugo is certainly zangief-esque, and necro is a combination of blanka and dhalsim, dudley is kind of like balrog. but who does ibuki remind you of? who does oro play like? what about q? 12? honestly, for every clone character there's a unique one.

  • The problem for me is the new characters just didnt have the charm of the old ones, plus some of them felt kinda generic to me and Dudley isnt just kind of like balrog he almost exactly like him, with a fancy shirt.

  • haha! a fancy shirt and a sick mustache! how is that not an improvement!? i think it really is a game that shows its complexity once you spend some time with it. but i cant fault you if you don't feel like putting in the time

  • Is cps3 newer then the other cps, like cps1 and cps2?

  • Yes cps3 came after 1 and 2. The system was more or less abandoned for Sega Naomi thats why theres only like 6 games on cps3.
