I Wanted to again thank the gentleman who shot this and allowed me to post this. I really enjoy these videos myself and think they are worth sharing. The SAAB 340 is a wonderful aircraft and i've found to be a joy to work on.
I wanted to once more remind anyone who wishes to post a comment to please keep them clean. If you feel the need to be profane please message the individual on the side and not in the comments. Nasty comments will be removed. Thanks again!
That reminds me of the 1984 Avianca Airlines jet crash in Spain. The cockpit voice recorder revealed the pilot repeatedly being told "Pull up! Pull Up!" His response? "Shut up, Gringo," and then he apparently switched the system off. Minutes later the plane went into the side of a mountain. Everyone on board died.
Cap was pretty "interested" in the port side when he heard the terrain alarm. LOL That was pretty lumpy...looked like a pretty decent crosswind and a moderate chop. Probably scared the cattle a bit in the back seats, eh?

What would they have done if they were imc? U should always follow directions given by egpws, and these guys obviously didn't. Flying for a proper airliner u would get sacked for that kind of flying. At least where i work.
This airport is at Elba Island off the north west coast of Italy. I actually pinpointed it on the map in the stats & Data tabe. Thanks for the comments :D
ahah can u listening the passenger s ?? ahhaha very funny i want be on a conmuter airplane, i only flowed dc9 and 727 :( wanna fly on a B1900 or a Saab 340
Yes Zibi mentioned that there were very high winds the day he shot this. You can hear the aircraft shake and rattle as a testament to this fact. The Saab 340 is a remarkably strong airframe and can take the lumps though :D
i dont get did they have no power till they went on ??? if so could they have crashed ??

hehe the Cockpit door on the S340B is very thin. It was a turbulent take off and i'm sure some of the passengers were not super ready for the flight.

Would rather walk back home than fly with those retards!

Looks to me like they did a very good job, and I've been an airline pilot for 25 years.
Are you a retard?

Concidering this is an island i would hope you don't mind swimming then. Insulting the flight crew is unnecessary.
CIWS1 2 years ago
Seriously. Insulting the flight crew is unnecessary! These are very experienced pilots and are very good at what they do.

WOW at 1:10 the pilot is struggling the keep the plane streight. He is baking the yoke all the way left and right. These pilots are great!

great video.
Seems like the pilot has to combat nasty winds and turbulences too :)
Is that the passangers who sound a bit uncomfortable ? :D
