I've never seen a marching band w/ an oboe. You can certainly see the influence of the British in the wide arm swings. The Israeli IDF marches in the same way.
Why are our Military bands not sounding good any more. Is it the compositions or the arrangements. The character of Music is certainly missing. The moment the other bands come on they sound so damn good. qmsarge is right about the bandmaster. The horns, Trombones and trumpets are so out of tune. Please do something about the bands of our country. SAVE OUR BANDS.
