Night vision wouldn't work with that kind of zoom range anyway. I just ordered this baby off amazon... my first camcorder.. I can't wait to play with it!
If you want the videos from your SDR-S26 to show up on YT in the correct 16:9 aspect ratio (instead of squished, as in this video), you should first load it into other software (APE, VideoStudio, VirtualDub, etc) then export it to 960x540 or preferably 640x360 (this camcorder's actual frame size). The VideoCam Suite software that comes with it doesn't set the 16:9 flag correctly in the MPEG header.
