dude i have trouble with my lower back and this is helping me out tons.I squat 2 times a week and this is great.Regular squats for power and nw these hack squats for hypertrophy
wouldn't it be difficult trying to get the weigh off the bar with this, cause if you take it off either end it will off the opposite end, how do you get around it?
Because of the downward tilt, you just use one hand to keep the plates from sliding while you unload using the other hand, just setting the plate down on the floor or against the rack upright. It's actually pretty easy. The bar won't flip unless you REALLY unbalance by unloading all the plates off the top end.
Thanks man! Yeah, this works extremely well. You get all the benefits of the machine plus you don't get locked into the movement as much because the barbell can move. You also get the torsion on the core to increase abdominal strength.
Haven't had any problems with this one, even with a lot of weight piled on. I think I was using 5 or 6 plates on the end there in the demo. The only hitch I could see is if you start adding many more plates, you might run out of room on the bar to set your shoulder. Other than that, nothing.

That looks great! You can safely pile some weight on? Have you come across any problems with it yet?
